Belgian Shepherd (Tervuren) → Belgian Shepherd Dog (Tervuren) — All of the articles on Wikipedia regarding this breed and its varieties use the name Belgian Shepherd Dog, not Belgian Shepherd (which is technically incomplete). For evidence of correctness, see the list of breed clubs under the External Links section -- the breed is unanimously referred to as a Belgian Shepherd Dog, with the exception of the American Belgian Tervuren Club (Belgian Tervuren is another name for the breed, but moving the article to that page wouldn't be consistent with the other articles on here). Strongly Agree: In all my dog breed books, I have seen this as "Belgian Shepherd Dog Tervuren." FCI, ANKC, UKC, CDC, and KC all list it as the full title Belgian Shepherd Dog... Comment I have no doubt that this renaming will go through. However, "shepherd" is a perfectly good noun, and there is nothing incomplete about "Belgian Shepherd". It's a fine noun, but when referring to the breed, omitting "dog" is, technically, shortening the official name it's been given by almost every club and registry (including the big 3: AKC, KC, and FCI). Comment - new un-discussed moves. The pages has been moved again, but no indication of any discussions. Loginnigol - could you kindly please direct me to where there were discussions conducted about the latest page moves? Image being marked as faults.[edit]

I see the dog's pedigree name etc is given on the Commons description page - looking at this ( http://www.nemkc.org/gallery-2009-jul.html ) it is a champion and has won groups etc. I think it's a bit nasty to have included a photo on the article pointing out faults!
