April 2010[edit]

A man called Coyote is a central figure in the Mars Trilogy by Kim Stanley Robinson. I think his role is similar to that of a trickster. 80.101.76.238 (talk) 21:32, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

PopCruft will be trimmed[edit]

This article is littered with examples of Coyotes in popular culture that lack any secondary sources to establish that they are significant. I've tagged the article accordingly and will give it a couple of months before I begin removing any examples that lack sources. Interested users should review WP:LSC. I've had a small Coyote in my backyard for day's now.It basicly stay's in one spot.I have a creek right where it sit's.I feel it's waiting for another Coyote to show up,because I have seen a larger one in the recent past. Why would a Coyote stay in one spot for long legnths of time? Please e-mail me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Donna Ruhl (talkcontribs) 18:17, 26 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it took me awhile, but I finally got around to removing all entries which lacked independent sourcing, a requirement per WP:IPCV. Sadly, that was essentially all of them. I invite interested editors to review the prior version of this article and resurrect any entries for which independent sourcing can be found to demonstrate that that occurrence of coyote is generally considered a significant one.
