The result of the move request was: No consensus to move, currently configuration of Crime Patrol and its disambiguation does no harm to WP. Mike Cline (talk) 22:49, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Crime Patrol (TV series)Crime Patrol – This article appears to be the primary meaning of the term Crime Patrol. It's a TV series which has run for four seasons and has 117 incoming article links. The article previously located at Crime Patrol (and now moved to Crime Patrol (video game)) is for an older and relatively obscure video game with 15 incoming links. I intend to create a Crime Patrol (disambiguation) including these and other meanings, and to refer to it in hatnotes. Nick Number (talk) 19:57, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose – there's no need to claim a primary topic in cases like this where several things share similar names, and none are universally recognized, and the disambiguating info is so helpful. Especially when one is only a few years old, and bound to be transitory. Dicklyon (talk) 23:00, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
    • Ha! Here you are making the argument, or at least a close variant of it, that you seemed to deny making yesterday. Regardless, for WP:PRIMARYTOPIC determination, all that matters is the notability of the topic relative to other uses of the same name. The notability of the topic to the public at large -- whether it's "universally recognized" or not -- is not relevant to primary topic determination. --Born2cycle (talk) 05:26, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
      • Ha! Ha! to you, too. I think I asked you to tell me if I had made comments of the sort you were referring to. I didn't deny anything. I can see now why you've rediscovered this primarytopic discussion as related to the disambiguation question, but it didn't come to mind at the time. Given who made the RM, you can hardly say it's part of a campaign by me or the others you named...and you certainly can't say the disambiguation is not needed for "Crime Patrol", can you? Dicklyon (talk) 05:38, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Info: I made Crime Patrol into a disambig page. I suspect that many of Crime Patrol (TV series)'s incoming links are via the template {{SET Shows}}. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 06:50, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose it should be disambiguated per Appleyard. 76.65.128.198 (talk) 09:29, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move -- WP should not be Euro-centric or US-centric. The TV programme has apparently run (though not continuously) since 2003, the first series lasting some three years. Crime Patrol is now a dab page. The move needs to be preceded by a move of the existing page to Crime Patrol (disambiguation) (with an edit to reflect the TV series being the primary topic). The TV series article can then be moved to the space vacated, and provided with an appropriate dab-hatnote. Peterkingiron (talk) 12:49, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Before today, the video game article was at Crime Patrol where it received 1,242 page views in November of 2011. The TV show, at Crime Patrol (TV series), received 6,210 page views during the same month. So the page view count stats are clear evidence that the TV show is the primary topic. NOTE TO CLOSING ADMIN: Any arguments in opposition based on supposed distortions in incoming link counts need to be dismissed as irrelevant, since the primary topic case is made by page view counts alone. Also, the recently created Crime Patrol dab page needs to be moved to Crime Patrol (disambiguation). --Born2cycle (talk) 05:26, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose I believe that Crime Patrol should be left as a disambiguation page as there is no clear primary topic. Alpha_Quadrant (talk) 17:40, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

Injected injections everyday for unconsciousness. Those criminals had looted 15 lakhs rupees by taking victim to his own bank's atm and stolen (Logan) car worth Rs.8 lakhs from his home.

He was kept 12 days in Orissa and to steal his car they took train with AC coach to Mumbai, got down at dadar at 5a.m. with prashant and took local virar train from dadar. 3 people among those criminals went to his place, took car and its papers and again took prashant in the car and went towards Maharashtra border. They injected 2 injections, kept gun on his head and threw him at Maharashtra border. Since he couldn't go to his office during his kidnapped period he was fired from his job (Parmeshwar Fashions Impex(P) Ltd Located at Andheri east Govt. recognized garment export house). Due to which he is still jobless from December'2011 without any cash.

He stays alone at Bhayandar (Mumbai) in rented house. He lost his father in childhood & his mother is dependent on him, staying at Orissa. Peerbagh youth's murder: Bandipora man, three railway police constable[edit]

Peerbagh youth's murder: Bandipora man, three railway police constables arrested Owais Bashir Malik was found dead two days after he went missing from his home on . Peerbagh youth's murder: Bandipora man, three railway police constables arrested Clashes erupted in Peerbagh after the killing of Owais. Mubashir Khan/GK Police have arrested four persons, including three constables of Government Railway Force (GRP), over the murder of a youth in Peerbagh area of Srinagar, officials said today. Owais Bashir Malik was found dead two days after he went missing from his home on January 14. His death had trigerred massive protests in the uptown Srinagar areas of Peerbagh, Hyderpora and Humhama. A special investigation team(SIT) headed by Syed Fayaz Ahmad, SDPO Magam was constiuted under the overall supervision of SSP Budgam to investigate the case in a time bound manner. "During investigation, it came to fore that for the last about one year the said Owais Bashir Malik was in contact with a person namely Ishaan Majeed S/O Ab. Majeed Peerzada R/O Bandipora, presently at Barzullah Srinagar," said a police spokesman. He said Ishaan would pose and act like a girl by the name Umaira R/O Wanbal Nowgam and both would talk for hours together mostly during the night hours. "Ishaan (Umaira) would also talk at times with family members including the sisters of the Owais as also with his cousin namely Tanveer Ahmad Bhat S/O Noor Mohammad Bhat R/O Galwanpora Budgam. "Owais would press Ishaan (Umaira) for a meet which was usually avoided by the later. However, on 12-01-2016, Owais pressed very hard for a meet and Ishaan (Umaira) agreed to meet on the Railway Track at Peerbagh. Ishaan (Umaira) divulged before the deceased that it was he who was posing as a girl. This infuriated Owais and both had a scuffle." Owais was badly injured in the scuffle, said the spokesman. "Ishaan (Umaira) got better of the Owais and brought him down on the ground over the Railway Track and also kicked him repeatedly. This injured Owais badly and he roled down into the gorge. Thinking that Owais was dead, Ishaan (Umaira) left for his home and subsequently to his aunt’s house at Bandipora. The two sims through which he used to talk with Owais were broken by him and thrown into a Nalla and thus tried to destroy the evidence," said the spokesman. The investigation team, he added, had a tough time since the place where the dead body was recovered near the Railway bridge was at a distance from the place where both had a scuffle. "It was found that in the evening of 12-01-2016, One constable of GRP did find some blood stains on the soil and noticed a human body in the shallow waters down the track. He did not inform the Police and instead planned to dispose off the body to a place away from track with his other two collegues. The three persons of GRP namely Manzoor Ahmad R/O Chadoora, Mohammad Ayoub R/O Humhama and Noor Mohammad R/O Khansahib picked the dead body and placed it away from the track near the Railway bridge at Peerbagh. "The main accused Ishaan Majeed S/O Peerzada Ab. Majeed R/O Bandipora at present Barzullah has been arrested in this case alongwith the three employees of GRP. Further investigation is in progress," he said. Umer shameem (talk) 17:19, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
