Untitled[edit]

Looks like this was written by the school's PR person. Fortunately, there's some good factual information to start with, but it desperately needs to be edited and point of view needs to be removed. 8:42 2 November 2006

Relation to Georgetown University[edit]

I just read about Georgetown Prep, which separated from the university in 1927, and I've been trying to find out when Visitation did this, if it ever really did. Does anyone know anything about this, or have a link or a book they can recommend? I'm sure I've seen Visitation girls in undergraduate classes, so there must be some relation. Thanks!--Patrick Ѻ 20:18, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Georgetown Academy for Young Ladies[edit]

The school was originally known as the Georgetown Academy for Young Ladies, so I'll add it to the article. The building at 1524 35th Street, NW is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. I've added a redirect from National Register of Historic Places listings in the District of Columbia since the National Park Service still uses the historical name.
