Title and person name[edit]

Grgo's surname is Ilić, and he would signed all his documents with Ilić or Ilich - this can be checked in Sutjeska archive. Unfortunately we don't have access to these primary sources. Only common thing in case of his surname is that in German, Italian and Latin documents Ilić/Ilich was often misspelled as Ilijich, Higlich, Ilijic, Hilijic, Hiljich in primary sources, however available secondary sources point to his original surname Ilić, which is common surname for the entire region, and was predominant in the areal of his origin - anyway, Ilijić is archaic of Ilić, and is all but disappeared from use. But, all being said, WP:Commonname is ambiguous on this issue: Wikipedia does not necessarily use the subject's "official" name as an article title; it generally prefers the name that is most commonly used (as determined by its prevalence in a significant majority of independent, reliable English-language sources) as such names will usually best fit the five criteria listed above and followed by a guideline for editors: When there is no single, obvious name that is demonstrably the most frequently used for the topic by these sources, editors should reach a consensus as to which title is best by considering these criteria directly.; which also means that move should have been discussed, and that we don't make decision on titles by counting Google Search/Google Scholar hits.--౪ Santa ౪99° 23:56, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
