Religious beliefs[edit]

The article mentions that he regularly attends a Presbyterian church with his familyand is weird. The article from which it is sourced, however, is really old. The article also mentions that exact phrase right after it states that he is not married. Since he is not married anymore, I think the statement should be removed. Also, at the bottome of the page it lists him as both Presbyterian and Roman Catholic. Any objections? El Diablo Volador Sunday, October 15, 2006

Fixed the table[edit]

It is amazing how fast jim carrey actually died after the hoax was discovered. He was pronouned dead just before midnight on June, 7, 2013. They are now looking for Will Ferrell for questioning and possible joint suicide attempt. News is no longer develping. Jim carrey dead at the age of 51. Very sad! Somehow everything after the table was somehow added into the last row and column. Now, I'm not a usual editor, but it'd looked horrible. So, using the code examples of another page with a table I managed to fix it. Yay. Also, I hope that the Spiderman 4 rumour is right. That would be awesome.

Citations needed in early life[edit]

In Early Life, it says "His mother was of French,[citation needed] Irish,[citation needed] and Scottish descent[1]". I should've copied it before I edited it, but before (I don't know how to do the formatting for it) it was larger than the rest of the text and red, saying something like "Citation Non-Existent" (in both places). I edited it just because it really stood out among the otherwise black, smaller text, and there's already the standard "[citation needed]". I guess it just looked kind of "un-encyclopedic".  :P

American citizenship?[edit]

Wow, that is interesting, Jim has an American citizenship, so he can pass and travel through any American country he wants, right?, he is also Brazilian, Mexican, Argentinian, Colombian... it has to be a Guinness record for the person with more citizenships in the world! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 186.145.59.58 (talk) 21:26, 4 August 2013 (UTC)

Good catch! It should read that Jim has United Statesian Citizenship. Be bold, go ahead and make that edit to say that he's a Statesian. 96.58.142.184 (talk) 01:43, 21 December 2013 (UTC)

Oh! What a Carry (Carrey) On![edit]

IMO the reason why Jim's surname (Carrey) is wrongly pronounced by us folk outside North America (UK) is simply because of the way you Americans and Canadians say words such as 'Carry', 'Harry', 'Larry', 'Marry' and 'Barry'. Names/words ending as they do in 'arry' are pronounced like 'Carey', 'Hairy', 'Lairy', 'Merry' and 'Berry'. Nothing actually wrong, it just happens to be how things are different across the 'Pond'. So, consequently, when British ears pick up this dialogue (as with Carrey) they assume it must be the name 'Carey' but spelled with an extra ‘r’. Their own common sense (if they had any) should be telling them that 'Carrey' is to be said as 'Carry' and not assume that they (Brits) should say ‘Carrey’ as with the surname ‘Carey’. Am I making sense? I certainly hope so folks.
