Super Bowl Sunday[edit]

Is this right? I used to watch this show every chance I got (even when it was in syndication on 3 different channels in my area), and I just watched most of the TV Land marathon this weekend, and I only remember him saying it was Sunday and he was home. --Tcsetattr 06:29, 18 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Phil[edit]

This page really needs some mention of Phil and the subsequent Phil Foundation story arch. Unfortunately I lack the memory or access to cable that would allow me to add it (I don't even know the actor's name). Night Court in Vegas[edit]

I've stumbled across a few references online to a failed pilot called "Night Court in Vegas" with Joey Travolta. Google gives me a whopping two hits on the title of little help other than to confirm that this pilot existed. Was this a "Night Court" spinoff? When was it produced and did it ever air anywhere? It was never aired. It was Night Court's early pilot draft, and was rejected because of it's budget. It was adapted as an episode during the fifth season, but never aired. Joey Travolta's role was recast. The episode was later edited, and footage was used in the final season (don't know the episode, sorry). That's all I could find out. Any help? Contradiction[edit]

Laugh track, live filming[edit]

I've just watched a couple episodes, and it appears that the laughter is real time. (E.g., the studio audience laughs and a couple people go "aaaaah" at a sentimental moment just afterward.) Given that, and the acoustics, I suspect the show was videotaped in front of a live audience -- one that might not even be prompted by cue cards. It was live because there is a specific "laugh" that belonged to a man that can be heard at the very end of the credits; and subsequently during each of the episodes. I forget his connection to the production, but it was significant and meaningful. I hope someone can find a reference to include here. Maineartists (talk) 00:23, 30 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Jenna Maroney?[edit]

How is it that a fake character created in 2006 appeared on a TV series in the '90s? If someone feels it is really that necessary to mention the sketch on 30 Rock perhaps mention it in a different section, since she was obviously not a "Supporting Player." →ClarkCT^Talk @ 18:14, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Error in the Awards Section[edit]

John Larroquette won the Outstanding Supporting Actor Emmy 4 times in a row (1985-1988), but one of his wins is missing from the table of Primetime Emmy nominations and wins. John Astin irregularity[edit]

In the "supporting characters" section it's stated that John Astin played Buddy Ryan from season 3 onward. The Buddy Ryan character was only introduced in season 4, although John Astin did play a one-off character in season 3.
