Reliable data is required.

The part about skiing is probably only true for the US, definitely not for Europe.
In Europe the boundaries are usually not marked and you don't lose your "skiing privilidges" (if this means that you can use the lifts). Usually only pistes are marked and the skiing resort has no official boundaries. This is because in Europe it is usually any part of the open areas of a mountain can be legally used by everyone. Property owners are only allowed to fence small ares (like a house with a garden) for private use.
The other difference is that in Europe the skiing resort only survailles marked trails, not all off-piste areas inside the resort (which doesn't have clearly defined boundaries as I mentioned above). --MrBurns (talk) 21:05, 4 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Those two articles are about very closely related concepts. Given the poor referencing and dubious notability, keeping them separate is not optimal. I recommend a merge. The "out of bonds" term is more meaningful, so I suggest here. Given the sidelines article has only one sentence referenced, the merge shouldn't be hard (merging unreferenced content is not recommended). Comment - I'm not sure you want to combine rectangular field sports with oval field sports such as cricket, but I can see the logic in the various footballs being under one article.Fleets (talk) 08:51, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
