Cleanup: Broader context[edit]

I have tagged the article for cleanup. Contrary to the lead, perineal hernias are seen not only in dogs, but also in other animals. The article already mentions cats. Humans require mention also. --Una Smith (talk) 15:43, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I hope you don't mind, I made the tag a little more specific. I don't know anything about the condition in humans and wouldn't feel qualified to expand it. --Joelmills (talk) 17:43, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. --Una Smith (talk) 18:34, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Repair[edit]

There are several techniques of surgical repair used in humans. What about in dogs? --Una Smith (talk) 18:54, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Several also. I've never done one myself, but I have seen a couple. I can add a brief summary of surgeries to the article. --Joelmills (talk) 20:28, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Much better now. I've removed the "generalize" tag. --Una Smith (talk) 18:03, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
