Jewish Political Studies Review[edit]

My doubts were raised from this paragraph:

It should not go unmentioned that Chrostowski not only represents an anti-Semitic worldview but also feels profoundly distant from the Western democracies. He documented his unambiguously pro-Palestinian version of the history of the city of Bethlehem [..] Chrostowski says that when the state of Israel was founded in 1948, an independent Palestine was also supposed to be created. However, this has not happened to this day, which is a cause for the inflamed Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Irrespective of how antisemitic/alt-right/... our subject is, these are valid — perhaps, unnuanced but not fringe — POVs to have. So, I went to find out more about the journal and it appears to be the mouthpiece of a Netyanuhite neocon thinktank. This is no academic publication. So, what are the credentials of the author? Tausch has served as an adjunct lecturer of Political Science, Economics, and Sociology at over a dozen colleges, and is a retired Austrian diplomat who spend most of his career in Poland. There is a 140 page long CV which lists about a hundred publications covering the length and breadth of humanities (sic). In short, no demonstrated expertise and not a RS for a BLP. Gazeta Wyborcza[edit]

Gazeta Wyborcza's coverage of the subject appears to be flattering, provided our subject is the eponymous driver of Jerzy Popiełuszko's golf-cart on the fated night. Piotrus - ? TrangaBellam (talk) 22:36, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Two different people Marcelus (talk) 22:46, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. TrangaBellam (talk) 22:47, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe, the other one needs an article too? TrangaBellam (talk) 22:47, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting The antisemitism aspect needs to go in lead. TrangaBellam (talk) 20:16, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That's a terribly written article Marcelus (talk) 21:01, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Might be but do you doubt that it is not a RS? If you claim so, I need to recheck. TrangaBellam (talk) 21:05, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Musial[edit]

Zubrzycki doesn't claim that "Musiał had accused Chrostowski's arguments of being antisemitic", at least not on the page you provided Marcelus (talk) 22:47, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Now - ? TrangaBellam (talk) 23:44, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know, because I don't have access to these articles, with exception of "Black is Black". BTW why you put Zlatkes as co-author of all, if he isn't credited for it in Polin? Marcelus (talk) 08:55, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
He is credited for it in Polin; Zlatkes was the translator! I copied their citations with slight edit. TrangaBellam (talk) 09:03, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The best way is to use Cite Journal template, and credit Zlatkes as translator, to avoid confusion. Do you happen to have access to this articles and are you able to share them? Marcelus (talk) 09:06, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have access - let me think of a way to share them. TrangaBellam (talk) 09:09, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Marcelus, can you access this link? TrangaBellam (talk) 18:19, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sadly, no Marcelus (talk) 18:21, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Marcelus Are you currently blocked (partial or total), in any Wikimedia project (say, nl.wikiquote or whatever), as of today? Since you have more than 500 edits in total, more than 10 edits in the last month, and no current blocks (?), you ought to access TWL. TrangaBellam (talk) 18:32, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not, maybe is it because of 0RR? Marcelus (talk) 18:39, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Resolved. TrangaBellam (talk) 19:33, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, the DOIs do not work if you are not logged in (via some university or otherwise) which is stupid. Click on this link and use the Cite button. TrangaBellam (talk) 09:06, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
