User Page or Article

Hi,

It's sure enough that you are working on WP and getting good hold of it, I really appreciate that but please also keep one thing in mind that your user page should not look like an Article, while browsing through it I double checked the link since I thought I ended up on Article page instead of User Page, though your user page is good but you are not expected to make it flamboyant. Add few lines about yourself, your article which you are working on, your image and get few user boxes related to your projects and few important things. RE: use of different IDs

I am Prajakta Mohite. Let me clear the thing, I and Mayuri are not using same ids. at the begining we were doing assignment together so I wrote her name below mine and told her to edit all other things as MIS No, user name etc. but she didn't edited it. as result everyone thought it as we are using same user name.

Regarding new page

Hi, I am creating a new page on Testing in High Performance Computing. As it is seen many times that incomplete pages get deleted pretty easily, I have developed a first draft of the page in my sandbox.

Your article review

Hey Pratik, I went through you edits and find it really good.

Few suggestions:

  • Don't stack up images, i.e., everything in center, try to add variety by putting few in left, right and center.
  • Add more content
  • Add more references
  • Add more internal links

I really loved the diagrams, if possible make few more and try to add a sidebar.

Hey Ram, thanks for going through the article.I do have lots of stuff to add, many references are there for the article. The content related to images is very less right now. So the only way to make the page look good was to keep the images in the centre. I tried the left right thing but it was not looking as good as it is looking now. suggestions

See if SVG files are more suited for wikipedia than JPG files. Improve the applications section – more example, better formatting for algorithm, try writing ADT properly. You can try adding the code to wikibooks or some other wiki. abhijit13(talk) 09:30, 7 October 2011 (UTC)

As you are have just started with Wiki editing, it's better that you write in your sandbox for the moment. It'll give you an opportunity to try and test various things. Once you have made a good number of edits to your assigned page and once the community accepts it, you can edit on the article directly(with confidence :) )

Editing article Test Strategy

Hi, The format of the article that we have chosen was very vague and random. So we decided to change its format completely and have started by adding a new section. We will retain some of the sections of the existing article, but for time being, we've removed them. We are still in process of defining the final structure and will meet Sir regarding the same on Monday.

Hey thanks for removing the copyvio. We have been constantly informing students not to do any copyvios, be it the article space or the user space. Why did you delete or put a tag on Vinod Kumar (footballer). The reason you put in so stupid because I have proved that he is notable due to the fact that he played one official match in the I-League which is India's top football league. If that is not notable then around 200 other wikipedia pages must not be notable as well. Fine I see your point but why say that about this article while there are many other articles on wikipedia about football players who are under 18 still up, like with Major League Soccer players. Most of them are just 18-19 and have yet to play a game yet some of them still have wikipedia articles. For example this player Sacir Hot. [1]. This link is an old version of his page as currently his page is ok but back then he had not played a single game for New York Red Bulls yet still was allowed to have a wiki page.
