The article Fish helpers has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Wikipedia is not a guide (WP:NOTGUIDE)
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Proposed deletion of Fish helpers[edit]
I have just reviewed this pages that you have recently created. I notice that another editor has proposed this article for deletion and regretfully I have endorsed it. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and as such advisory guides are not appropriate content. However, I recognise a good faith contribution of material of value, it is simply inappropriate here. May I suggest taking this content to our sister project Wikibooks instead? That project exists for collaborative creation of more general works than is the case here and is probably a better home for your content. Crispmuncher (talk) 02:55, 17 September 2011 (UTC).
