A tag has been placed on Zenon Software, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. (chat) techatology 13:21, 10 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. If you want a specific user to review your article, please contact that user and don't list the article for review. If you list if for review, it's put in the big bag of queued drafts (currently at around 2900) where reviewers will pick drafts to review more or less at random. Just in case you haven't already heard them, here are a general set of tips for getting articles accepted:
  1. Focus on notability first. Two sources and a quick sentence saying why this software is notable. The essay Wikipedia:Notability (software) might be of some help, as well as the guideline on how to identify reliable sources in a Wikipedia context. Keep in mind that major awards may help establish notability here.
  2. Once notability is established, flesh out some more details. Describe what the software does using a language that enables anyone outside that specific area of expertise to get an overview of what it does. Add some brief info on the publisher/developer, and the history of the software if applicable.
Keep in mind that the language have to be neutral. When you state zenon has set several new standards for HMI/SCADA software such as Multi-Touch you also need to back it up with independent sources, and not something that looks more like a press release from one of the vendors supplying the system to end users.
I'll be happy to help you further along if you want me to, but remember to not list the draft for review if you don't want to risk having other users end up reviewing it. Bjelleklang - talk 09:44, 19 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
