Disambiguation link notification for June 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Rich Evans, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Twitch (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:18, 17 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Codyave. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Gorilla Interrupted, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Deletion discussion about Paul Petersen (politician)[edit]

Hello, Codyave,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Isingness and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Paul Petersen (politician) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Paul Petersen (politician).

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Isingness}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Millian[edit]

Thanks for creating the Millian article. We needed it. I do wonder why you used my private subpage User:Valjean/Millian in my userspace to do it? That's not allowed. That is my research space. To create an article, just do it, without disturbing other editors' work. -- Valjean (talk) 23:04, 30 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

mmmmm I think your conclusion might be in error. Codyave (talk) 15:00, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
In what way? Look at the history of your article and you'll see it started as my draft userspace article, which was not at all ready to go public. That changed on 16:01, May 29, 2020.
User:JJMC89 made my page a redirect to your article. I'm not sure why that happened, and I've never seen that done before. You may not have realized this happened. Right now my page is gone and its history is part of the history of your article. That's not right.
BTW, I have no problem with you starting the article. That's fine. It just should not have happened based on making a redirect out my draft. -- Valjean (talk) 01:11, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
As I think about this, it might have been that JJMC89 created the name for the article by redirecting my subpage and merging its history there. I suspect that's the case based on the wording of the log. Then you started creating your article, IOW you didn't do anything wrong. It was JCMC89 who did. They should not have disturbed my sandbox. -- Valjean (talk) 01:38, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Continuing this at Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion#Sergei Millian. -- Valjean (talk) 15:22, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Edward Baumgartner, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. -- Dane talk 21:10, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Aleksei Burkov has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Delete as per WP:NOTNEWS, also a case of WP:BIO1E.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
