Orphaned non-free media (File:Hungry Joker Volume 1 Cover.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Hungry Joker Volume 1 Cover.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:19, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your edit war on Black Clover and Yūki Tabata[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:28, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Additionally, your personal attacks in the edit summaries need to stop. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:30, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

August 2015[edit]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:35, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

What I did simply protecting the pages from wrong information, as stated in the edit comments that I did. But the other party keeps brushing them off while convinced as being right. In Black Clover page I try to say to him that an extra heading is unnecessary as there're to few for the heading to be useful and it is a third level heading which almost similar in size with the text. The other party brushes them off and said that he created the page and he is right all the time. Additionally, I've been protecting the page from him putting wrong character and author's name in which he kept changing until recently. On Yuki Tabata page, he inserted a dubious image of two person without highlighting which one is the supposed person of the page. It is also from a google image search and I kept saying that the author's image never surfaced on the web but he kept insisting it's correct because he got it from a "friend". FYI, the other party created an empty Hungry Joker page just to prove a point when I said that I had created a Hungry Joker page but was deleted for a lack of info and citation. This other party clearly new to wikipedia but keeps insisting an ownership of pages that he created.

Decline reason:

You were warned about edit warring, and you continued doing so after the warning. The block is correct. It should have been longer, given the personal attacks in your edit summaries. --jpgordon::==( o ) 13:47, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

What you just described is a textbook case of edit-warring. Being correct is not a reason to continually revert the other party (this works both ways). Try talking to him after your block expires; if he refuses to listen to you we have various methods of dispute resolution, and if he won't bite for those, then he shouldn't be editing a collaborative project. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 09:22, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I agree with you @Jpgordon: anyone who uses personal attacks in edit summaries should be blocked for a long time as this behaviour is totally unacceptable on Wikipedia. --EurovisionNim (talk to me)(see my edits) 13:50, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
