Category:Unclean vocalists[edit]

Hi there. Most of my edits are to small towns in the southern United States, so I'm completely unfamiliar with heavy metal music, but I came across one of your recent edits and need some clarification.

You created Category:Unclean vocalists. Then, User:Second Skin redirected Category:Guttural singers to it.

First, I have no idea what an "unclean vocalist" is. There's no definition on the category page you created, and you've added the category to a number of articles that never once even use the word "unclean". Is it your personal opinion that they are "unclean vocalists"?

Also, there is no Wikipedia article about unclean vocals. As you can see, unclean vocals at one time redirected to death growl, but now redirects to Screaming (music).

Did you consult with any other editors, or with Wikipedia:WikiProject Musicians for guidance before creating the category?
