December 2021[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page 8 Man has been reverted.
Your edit here to 8 Man was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline (see also this list of frequently-discussed sources). The reference(s) you added or changed (https://manga.fandom.com/wiki/8_Man) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 14:10, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Grabbz/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. I thought I just saved my draft. Why am I getting deleted? I'm still trying to understand how this works — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.71.51.123 (talkcontribs)
If the above user is the user "Grabbz", then you were logged out when leaving your comment. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing.
Your account was blocked because your account name represents a business, which is a violation of Wikipedia's username policy. If you wish to be unblocked, please follow the instructions in the notice below.
If you are writing about a business you own or represent, please note this is a conflict of interest. Wikipedia has no interest in what businesses wish to say about themselves; this is considered advertising. We require businesses to meet the notability criteria for companies, which requires existing significant coverage in multiple reliable and independent sources. Lack of such coverage means this company is not sufficiently notable enough for inclusion.
One last note. Your recent talk page comments were not added to the bottom of the page. New discussion page messages and topics should always be added to the bottom, or the bottom of the relevant section. I moved your message so that the discussion flows in the proper chronological order. In the future you can use the "New section" link in the top right. For more details see the talk page guidelines. Thank you. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 17:57, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

OK but I did not mean to publish I just wanted to save it as a draft Grabbz (talk) 18:08, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You might be confused by the language used in the editing window. The "Publish changes" button means "Save", no matter which page you're editing. Your content was not in the main article space, but rather your user sandbox, and therefore was never a "live" article. However, even article drafts and sandboxes are not protected from deletion if the content is judged to be promotional. Your content would have been deleted regardless of where you had posted it. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 19:29, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If I can delete it and start all over with just editing so I can learn a bit morearn a bit more that would be great.. Grabbz (talk) 18:09, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The content you posted has already been deleted. If you wish to start over, then - as previously stated - please follow the unblock instructions below. Note that you will have to propose a new account name, as you will not be allowed to continue using your current one. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 19:29, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

OK thanks Grabbz (talk) 19:32, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

December 2021[edit]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Orange Mike | Talk 17:39, 16 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
