A tag has been placed on Animals for the Care of Treatment (A.C.T.) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. A tag has been placed on Animals for the Care of Treatment, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect to a nonexistent page, or a redirect loop.

If you can fix this redirect to point to an existing Wikipedia page, please do so and remove the speedy deletion tag. However, please do not remove the speedy deletion tag unless you also fix the redirect. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please stop wasting our time[edit]

Lee, please stop wasting our time with this apparent hoax of yours. Prior to its most recent deletion, I prepared this comment to include in a conversation among several other editors about the dubiousness of your Wikipedia page:

None of the links intended to serve as references for this article (except the Web site index) currently work. In addition, I'd expect that a non-profit with an annual budget of $2 million could afford a better Web site than webs.com can offer, and to pay someone other than its supposed founder to post cute pictures on its supposed blog. As if that weren't enough, the photos of supposed members of the organization include photos of actor Gary Cole[1] as "Richard Brown"[2] and Angela Leeper, an employee of the University of Richmond (VA)[3] as "Stella Starpon"[4]. The page for the "founder" Lee Rankin[5] indicates that he is 16 years old. I think we are being had.

Creating a hoax page on Wikipedia is a sure way to an indefinite block. If asked my opinion, I would call for it if only out of sheer annoyance at the amount of my personal time I wasted corresponding with you about previous incarnations of the page. Please do not create the page again. Dwpaul Talk 23:44, 21 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. - The first clue that the existence of the organization about which you were attempting to create an article was questionable was its supposed name. While "Animals for the Care of Treatment" makes a really spiffy acronym ("ACT"), the name simply makes no sense. Assuming that you are in fact 16 years old, and love animals, and would like to eventually form and lead an organization that works for their benefit, I suggest that creating a fictional organization and in effect telling lies about it (as your creation here surely did) isn't the right way to go about it (and will likely prevent you from being successful in the long run). Please find another, more constructive way to contribute. Perhaps volunteer at your local animal shelter. Dwpaul Talk 00:24, 22 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
