Speedy deletion of Víctor Hugo Andrada[edit]

A tag has been placed on Víctor Hugo Andrada requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Triwbe (talk) 12:10, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Víctor Hugo Andrada[edit]

I have nominated Víctor Hugo Andrada, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Víctor Hugo Andrada. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. South American footballers[edit]

I noticed you have been adding statistics to many South American footballer articles. Perhaps you could help to improve Jorge Trezeguet?

When you are editing wikipedia it would be helpful if you remembered to include an Edit summary when you change an article, this helps other editors see what you are doing. You can see your edit summary usage and number of edits here you may also find this tool useful and this one interesting. Feel free to sign up and contribute to Wikiproject Argentine football, regards EP 23:10, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to RedLibre, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Proposed deletion of José Ignacio Pallas[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article José Ignacio Pallas, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

probably nn football player

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Warnings[edit]

respect national varieties of English[edit]

In a recent edit to the page Juan Carlos Sánchez, you changed one or more words from one international variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For subjects exclusively related to Britain (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to other English-speaking countries, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the appropriate variety of English used there. If it is an international topic, use the same form of English the original author used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to the other, even if you don't normally use the version the article is written in. Respect other people's versions of English. They in turn should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. If you have any queries about all this, you can ask me on my talk page or you can visit the help desk. Thank you. King of the North East 00:06, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Use edit summaries[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary for your edits. Thank you. King of the North East 00:06, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Final request[edit]

Please do not change articles from one version of English to another as you have done here after having been asked not to. You must respect other people's versions of English, this is not just my opinion it is Wikipedia policy. And please start to use edit summaries, this helps other editors see what you are doing without checking every single edit. Please stop ignoring these requests, I don't want to have to issue vandalism warnings. King of the North East 20:24, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

unnecessary changes of date formatting are against policy[edit]

Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to César Couceiro. Most British people and many people internationally write dates in day-month-year order, e.g., 12 December 1904. Most Americans use month-day-year order, e.g., December 12, 1904. If the article is about an American topic, use month-day-year. If it is a British or European topic, use day-month-year. If neither, leave it as originally written. Many Americans or British people take offence if an article about their country, written in their local version of English, is changed around to a version they don't use. So please do not do that.

If you have any questions about this, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Enjoy your time on Wikipedia. Thank you. King of the North East 16:57, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't change the format of dates as you did here. It is against Wikipedia policy to do this and you have been asked not to do it already. King of the North East 13:42, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding this edit, please try to comply with Wikipedia policy on dates. I get tired of telling you the same thing over and over again. Why won't you listen? King of the North East 09:51, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Preview[edit]

Hi, could I remind you that using the the show preview button helps to avoid making huge numbers of edits to a page [1]. I would also like to remind you to start using edit summaries as it is considered good practice. You have been here long enough and have made enough valuable contributions to begin abiding by the norms and practices expected of experienced editors. Have a good day King of the North East 00:45, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Where did you get Cantoro statistics from Atlético de Rafaela and Blooming? Have you got an access to this site:[2]? If so, could you make a screenshots of his statistics from separate seasons?--Oleola (talk) 04:10, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Could you post a source of Cantoro stats you added to article? If you can't, I'll have to remove them.--Oleola (talk) 19:18, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Have you got full access to BDFA site? I think that is less probable that Cantoro played 28 games for Atletico de Rafaela in Clausura 1997 season. So please post a screenshot with full stats from Blooming and Atletico de Rafaela, otherwise I'll have to remove this stats.--Oleola (talk) 21:25, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Availability of those stats is only allowed to registered users only. However, if you don't trust my sources you are free to do whatever you want with it.--Sgreen1277

AfD nomination of Samuel Galindo[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Samuel Galindo. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Samuel Galindo (2nd nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:12, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You are now a Reviewer[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:31, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Sgreen. I saw you reverted my removal of the famous players section on the Blooming article. I am not sure whether you are aware, but, as the tag did say, such lists require a clear inclusion criteria, otherwise they are inherently OR. Please add such criteria if you revert.
