License tagging for File:Bio Landscape CMYK.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Bio Landscape CMYK.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 12:05, 2 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Publisher[edit]

Normally publisher information is not added to journal citations. Also you are adding a large number of links to Bioscientifica. If you have any connections to this publisher, this amount to a conflict of interest. Boghog (talk) 09:48, 4 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Boghog, Wikipedia advises that publisher information is added to academic journal citations. See: Template:Cite journal. I have no commercial connection with Bioscientifica, but as I have recently created the page for this publisher, I'm ensuring that the appropriate interwiki links are now added.TheFluxCapacitor (talk) 10:52, 4 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi TheFluxCapacitor. All the {{cite journal}} documentation says is that |publisher= could be added, not that it should be added. There are a large number of available parameters, many of which are rarely used. In practice, the vast majority of journal citations in Wikipedia do not include this parameter. Also in scientific publications, the publisher is not normally included in journal citations (see for example APA Journal Article Citation and MLA Journal Article Citation). In contrast, book citations normally do include the publisher. Boghog (talk) 12:30, 4 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
