Minimum age for POSSESSION of long guns is 14 if they have a firearms training certificate. A 14-year-old is not permitted to PURCHASE a gun under state law in MN. The US Map of colors needs to have the color for MN adjusted to be blue. Also, Minnesota has a minimum age of 18 to purchase handguns - the info is incorrect for this state on the handgun map and info. undo Tag: Visual edit [accepted by Robertus Pius]
