The O-360-C2D is not "low compression" compared to the HO-360-B1A/B1B and HIO-360-B1A/B1B. FAA Type Certificate Data Sheets E-286 and 1E10 reveal that all these engines have the same compression ratio of 8.5 to 1. But there was a difference between the O-360-C2D and the HO-360-B1A/B1B in the power rating allowed for the Hughes 269A. undo
