  • curprev 19:4419:44, 8 January 2024 80.6.86.182 talk 24,185 bytes +38 Once again a misleading claim. The summary of the citation says that only children surpassed other children except first-borns and children from 2-child families on achievement and intelligence. First borns and children from 2 child families are included in "peers" and may account for a significant percentage of those "peers". I am not able to access the article to take a better look at its findings but what i can see does not support the claim made here. undo Tag: Reverted

Only 2 previous citations of this claim in the page an study rom 2008 and a quantitative study from 1986 both of which suggest in their summaries similar achievement levels for first-borns and 2 children families as only children. Neither suggest particularly only child excel over their peers. Either another citation proving this claim is needed or this is a misleading claim. undo
