My main article-writing contributions concern political science and history, especially British and American. As indicated by the userboxes to the right, I'm English and male. I presently have lots of free time to edit Wikipedia, as I've now left school. Having recently received my A-Level results, it is confirmed that I will be going to Hertford College, University of Oxford in late September (Michaelmas term) to read Law. My political stance is conservative, leaning libertarian. According to the Political Compass Test I am Economic Right 8.13 and Social Libertarian -0.97, which is remarkably accurate. Public figures (past and present) I admire include Queen Elizabeth I, Winston Churchill, Margaret Thatcher, Dwight Eisenhower, Ronald Reagan, and current Australian prime minister John Howard. In terms of current UK politics, I am a big supporter of Gordon Brown and a strong opponent of David Cameron. I am also negative about Britain's membership in the European Union and support stronger assertion of British interests. Internationally, in the forthcoming US presidential elections I am undecided between Rudy Giuliani and John McCain. I have a page on Spanish Wikipedia, a page on the Meta-Wiki, and a page on Wiktionary. Wikisophically I'm a mergist, wikidemocrat and very moderate inclusionist, although I delete plenty of junk every day through the speedy deletion process. I also help out at WP:AIV and block vandals. I am considered pretentious by everybody who knows me, and the youth of today, I believe refer to me as a 'prick'. If you'd like to know anything else about me, ask. This is mostly because of the smaller size of Spanish Wikipedia (fewer than 300,000 pages) and because of its dearth of coverage of UK political topics, one of my main fields of interest.
