An aggregate of the [[flora (plants)|flora]] for the islands of the [[Caribbean]], as well as the surrounding coastlines in [[North America]], in [[Central America]] and [[South America]].
This category contains articles related to the flora of the [[Caribbean]]. Taxa of the lowest rank are always included. Higher taxa are included only if endemic.

For the purposes of this category, "Caribbean" is defined in accordance with the [[World Geographical Scheme for Recording Plant Distributions]] (WGSRPD); that is, it is defined as a region of South America, comprising [[Aruba]], the [[Bahamas]], [[Bermuda]], the [[Cayman Islands]], [[Cuba]], the [[Dominican Republic]], [[Haiti]], [[Jamaica]], the [[Leeward Islands]], the [[Netherlands Antilles]], [[Puerto Rico]], the "Southwest Caribbean" (being the Caribbean Islands of Colombia, Honduras and Nicaragua), the [[Turks and Caicos Islands]], [[Trinidad and Tobago]], the [[Venezuelan Antilles]] and the [[Windward Islands]].
