Enthiran Critical Reception

Why did you delete reviewgang score? WP:MOSFILM clearly says "review aggregate websites such as Rotten Tomatoes or Metacritic are citable for statistics pertaining to the ratio of positive to negative reviews". Check the wiki page of any hollywood movie and the opening sentence in critical response will be the rottentomatoes and metacritic score.Reviewgang is the only such service for indian movies which aggregates professional critic reviews Mallumax (talk) 01:37, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Johannes003, I thought that review aggregation sites like Claps and Boos or ReviewGang are not permissible till they are accredited by Google News or some other syndicate? I see that different rules are being applied to different sites? Is it dependent on whom we know and whom we don't know? If ReviewGang's "Professional reviews" are allowed, then that would be the day that the neutrality of Wikipedia (Tamil Cinema) will be surely questioned. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Karthiksriram (talkcontribs) 13:27, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Blaaze.jpg

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Blaaze.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. J Milburn (talk) 11:37, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with File:Blaaze.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Blaaze.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 06:28, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award (Tamil), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award (Telugu). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Fair use rationale for File:Baana.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Baana.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 16:25, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Naan Avanillai II

I have nominated Naan Avanillai II, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Naan Avanillai II. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message.  Chzz  ►  08:44, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Sarvam 1.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Sarvam 1.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:41, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Kannamoochi yenada.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Kannamoochi yenada.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. Striker.

Hi, Siddharth, on his verified Twitter page, confirmed the news. The film features many music directors, doing one song each (Vishal Bharadwaj, Amit Trivedi, Blaaze, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Swanand Kirkire, Shailendra Bharve). Furthermore, he added that Yuvan sang his number in the song in Hindi. Trailers for the film are out with 3 Idiots on Christmas Day, with the music following January 8, 2010. The film should release on February 5, 2010.

Goa.

Hi, thanks for all your hard work so far working with the article, Goa. But, I was wondering if it really needed a separate soundtrack page. The film isn't as colossal as the other film soundtrack pages notably Roja, Jeans, Sivaji and Dasavathaaram and honestly I fear it may start a wrong trend of un notable albums being added - especially by editors who are insistent to do such articles for every minute detail of their favourite hero's new film.

Films with such musical anticipation such as Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya (soundtrack) or albums for Endhiran or Raavan are acceptable due their novelty in concept, for example VTV's recent London launch.

Your thoughts? Universal Hero (talk) 12:32, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Ullam

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Ullam. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ullam. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:06, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vinnaithaandi varuvaaya

Hi Johannes. I saw that you had removed my edits. I had provided some links to reviews in Sify, Rediff - which are both the most reliable critic review websites as of now - behindwoods and Indiaglitz themselves promote movies and so are biased and Claps and Boos, which is the only user score aggregation website. Kindly elaborate! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Karthiksriram (talkcontribs) 17:34, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Johannes003, Can I have a reason as to why a new website cannot be included in the ratings/reviews? The website has a coherent about us to talk about how the rating are done. And may I know why Wikipedia does not like user aggregated sites? I have seen english movies having ratings from Rotten Tomatoes (where the normal audience far outnumber professional reviewers). And if not for audience response, what else would you want to know about a movie's fate at the turnstiles? I know that you are a senior editor, but based on some talk in other pages, I see that there is a network here, where any views that are not acceptable to the network is deleted/edited. I know you would have, but have you gone through the Good Faith Policy of Wikipedia? I can provide to you the user statistics - in terms of geography and in terms of unique visitors for Sify, Rediff or Claps and Boos. Kindly explain what you would expect before you agree that Claps and Boos is an 'acceptable' link for you? I'm surprised because sites which promotes movies like Behindwoods and Indiaglitz are having their reviews linked in many articles, but Claps and Boos is not attached to any monetary entities is being blocked?!Karthik Sriram (talk) 18:14, 9 March 2010 (UTC) Karthik Sriram (talk) 18:17, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Also, apart from Baradwaj Rangan who got a National Award from Govt of India, how do you the know the reviewer in Rediff or Sify or BEHINDWOODS is 'credible'? For one, I have written a review for Sify Movies once. And Behindwoods, which seems to be so dear to many articles is basically based on rumors and user articles. You can quite easily verify my facts by going to behindwoods and checking out the veracity of certain articles which have been refuted by the people concerned with the movies. Eg.: http://www.behindwoods.com/tamil-movie-news-1/feb-10-04/jiiva-ko-24-02-10.html. I have personal access to Jiiva and I know that this was a false news. So I do not see a credible reason for you to accept links from sites like this which publish articles just to get hits and Claps And Boos who do not publish just for sake of hits.

If you can agree, yes, that you have personal motives behind your editing policies, then please let me know. We can go for a Wikipedia arbitration process. Karthik Sriram (talk) 18:34, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Who are the admins? I'm kinda new to Wikipedia and so would need some help on that. But definitely, I know the folks who run Claps and Boos and they are not a fan site. Every website is only as reliable as what they claim to be. If your consideration for determining validity is exclusive content, then we do have some and you can check them out. If you expect reliable info, then Behindwoods should be the last site. I can prove to you on an article to article basis as to how they have been publishing fake news. But, again, kindly let me know how i can get in touch with the moderators. Karthik Sriram (talk) 20:28, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Touring Talkies external link being taken out

Hi Johannes003,

I would like to know the reason behind you taking out the link to the Touring Talkies page of the movie 'Paiyaa'? This website is a no-ads website that takes a fresh and provides a localized way of rating movies. I see that in many movie pages, Wiki has links from IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes but somehow you did not approve of this website to be in the external links. With all due respect, i would please like to know what is the reason behind this and what i should be doing in order to be legitimate?

Thanks, Jayanth. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jayanthvenkat (talkcontribs) 18:31, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

I've been trying to get some of the better articles in regard to Tamil cinema to a GA level. And as the process is under way, I was wondering if you could quickly read through the prose of Aayirathil Oruvan, and make any adjustments. It was written by a (surprsingly decent) IP address editor.

Moroever, a film article you heavily contributed to (Sarvam) is also going through the process, please see its talk page for its promotion issues. Cheers Universal Hero (talk) 15:50, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi buddy,

Thanks for all the help, editing and looking after articles in regard to the South Indian film industry. Just wanted to leave a note, that I'm unlikely to be as active as I have been in recent time over the next few months - possibly til September. I'll try to help when I can, and as much as possible.

...and maybe I could get to know a bit more about your tastes in regard to films (considering your user page is blank). So, as inspired by two other really nice users, I've kind of created a small coffee break quiz which you could kindly complete. Here goes:

  • 1. Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan: the better actor/star
  • 2. Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam: Rank them in order
  • 3. Simran or Jyothika: the better actress
  • 4. Vikram, Surya or Madhavan: the better actor
  • 5. Asin or Genelia: the better actress
  • 6. Dhanush or Simbu: the actor with the better future
  • 7. Kajal Aggarwal or Samantha: the actress with the better future
  • 8. The Next Telugu superstar: Ram Charan Teja, Allu Arjun, Rana or Naga Chaitanya
  • 9. The most promising: Karthi, Arya, Simbu, Dhanush or Jeeva
  • 10. The last film you saw that you really liked
  • 11. The last film you saw that you felt was "pure torture"
  • 12. Your all-time favorite performance/film of Kamal Haasan
  • 13. Ajith, Vijay, Vikram, Surya: Rank them in order
  • 14. Asin, Trisha, Shriya, Nayantara, Tamanna: Rank them in order
  • 15. Mani Ratnam, Shankar, Gautham Menon, Selvaraghavan, Bala: Rank them in order

Ajith Kumar

Since user 220.225.218.253 has reverted the Ajith Kumar article several times now, it seems likely that he will continue to do so. With that in mind, you are invited to share your rationale in support of the current version on the talk page of that article. 220.225.218.253 has accused the current version of representing a "doctored version of history". For those not familiar with the article, a brief overview of the differences between the two versions would be helpful, as the two versions are so different that cross-comparison is not as easy as it would usually be. I would be personally inclined to favor the current version, but in the interest of transparency I think a brief discussion of what is at stake would be good to have outside of the edit summaries. Reviewer granted

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 05:41, 20 June 2010 (UTC) [reply]

2007 Top Tamil Films Chart

Check this out - http://www.behindwoods.com/tamil-movies-slide-shows/movie-1/top-collection/intro.html

Pokiri is behind Paruthiveeran. Also it was clearly noted that Billa was already No.3 within two weeks after release. By the end of its run, Billa had moved up to No.2.

Susi Ganesan's Thiruttu Payale enjoyed an extraordinary run for a low-budget film. But his Kandasamy did not. This was confirmed in India Today. I will give the scan link later.

Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya was at No.1 for five weeks (sify.com). Its distributors share was over 15 crore, so its raw gross was over 30 crore.

Paiya was at No.1 for four weeks and grossed 20 crores.

Singam was at No.1 for three weeks. Its gross is certainly less than Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya and Paiya.

File permission problem with File:Boss-Engira-Bhaskaran.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Boss-Engira-Bhaskaran.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. About "Successful movies in kollywood"page

Hey i just created that page in order to show all the successful movies of each year. Previously the List of highest-grossing Tamil-language films page was like this only until for the mid of the year 2009.

check this link --- "http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_highest-grossing_Tamil-language_films&oldid=284790414"

Then on april 14,2009 User:Anwar saadat has changed the pattern

check this link --- "http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_highest-grossing_Tamil-language_films&oldid=284811723"

It was more useful for the viewers to know detailed data on top grossing movies in each year. That's why i tried to recreate the page in that format.

There are lot of differences between the List of highest-grossing Tamil-language films page and the page which i created. so i think it wont be redundant if i create the page.

please reply me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Geocraze (talkcontribs) 02:09, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Studio vs. Production company

Hi, I just wanted to clear something up. Please consider the differences between a film studio and production company. While many production companies in the world are also film studios, we cannot simply call all production companies in Tamil Nadu as film studios. The situation with some companies like AVM Productions is different, however, where it runs production/distribution and owns several filming studios as well. But we cannot say that about Sun Pictures, who only recently began producing films after a history of film distribution. Many films (not produced by AVM) use AVM's studios to film certain scenes. It would be inappropriate to call other Tamil companies as "studios," as they necessarily aren't. Rather we call them as producers/distributors (which they really are) and leave the "studio" line blank in infoboxes UNLESS the film credits a studio company they used. If Endhiran mentions a studio in its credits (for example, Sun Studios, etc.) then we may add it to the infobox. EelamStyleZ (talk) 20:00, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

On a side note, it appears that you previously listed the "Footer Movies Ajith Kumar" template for deletion, but the decision appears to be "keep" since editors have not joined the discussion. I've relisted that template again (seemingly obvious reasons), so feel free to join the discussion for deletion. EelamStyleZ (talk) 20:37, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for clearing up those points. I've done a bit of research with the difference between film studio and producer/distributor and I think I see your point. "Studio" must be the proper line to fill in the production company names, as not every company is a distributor. So for example, SPB Charan's Capital Film Works can be described as a studio. Nadunisi Naaigal, I felt, was the correct transliteral spelling for the name. However, I didn't know there was a poster before you told me. If the film really does spell it the way it was before the move, then I have no objection reverting it back (though, I understand that's quite a tedious process).
And I've always followed what most editors I've seen follow by writing the language of the film or the country of the film in the lead paragraph, instead of linking the cinema hub, which I'm not too sure if it is appropriate. But right now I'm noticing many Hollywood film articles intros are starting to link to cinema hubs pages instead of languages (I could have sworn they used to link to language pages...). Overall I see that your editing styles are more updated than mines—I'll surely try to update myself with regards to this, thanks! EelamStyleZ (talk) 01:09, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Priyamani

Hi, I too don't want to get into another edit war. She is a Palakkad Iyer, who are a subclass of Tamil Iyers. However, there are people whose mother toungue is not Tamil among this communitiy. I agreed to you in the case of Vidya Balan, as she is having her mother toungue Tamil. But in case of Priyamani, who is fluent with many languages (as listed in this article itself), Malayalam is the mother toungue. I can understand if her name is given in Kannada, but how can a Malayalee girl belonging to Bangalore's name be written in Tamil? See this links [2] Arfazph (talk) 03:29, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How can you say the source I have given is unreliable and what's the need of a link in which she herself cites she is a malayalee? I think you can add her name in Tamil also since many sites says her mother tongue is Tamil. But you cannot simply blank her name in Malayalam as she is a clean malayalee and in all the magazines and Kerala websites, she is referred to as a Malayalee actress.See this links also,[3], [4] Arfazph (talk) 12:10, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the late reply. I leave it to your choice, as you are not satisfied by the links i've provided. Arfazph (talk) 4:58, 14 August 2010 (UTC)

List of songs

Hi. Actually, I think a list of songs by singers is pretty useful. I believe some playback singers already have such lists in their articles already, like Krishnakumar Kunnath (which is actually incomplete since it only lists Hindi songs) and Joseph Vijay. However, I do agree most singers, like SPB, have sung over a thousand and would be way too difficult building up a list for such singers. And dubbed songs... hmm... you got me thinking there. Well I'm thinking of it like this: a work can be mentioned separately if they are credited for it. So for example, SPB has sung and been credited on the album covers for both "Pudhiya Manidha" (Endhiran) and "O Mahamanishi" (Robo), where the latter is a translated version of the former. I wouldn't consider songs as "dubbed" since they are rewritten, resung, and sometimes have slightly different lyrics to better fit the tune and tempo. You're right about a dubbed movie, however, where the actors don't do extra work to react their portions for another language, and thus don't need to be mentioned separately, unless they decided to make it that way (eg. Saroja, Raavan/Raavanan). But nonetheless, I agree that building up a list of songs for Indian playback singers would be very difficult, since they sing a lot and a lot of their songs would most likely be missing. But I wouldn't mind if a complete list for singers were created with good sources. EelamStyleZ (talk) 18:03, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I agree with them being either fully complete or just don't need to be there. I feel the same way about filmographies too. But I'm not too sure if we're allowed to have such links under an External links section, we may have to double check WP:EL. If it can be done then I guess it saves us the effort of reproducing such lengthy lists on Wikipedia. I still don't know if I can agree with a "dubbed" song being considered as the same song as its original. Even though songs get rewritten in another language, most often they are sung by different singers, which I think makes it a separate piece of work than the original song--same for singers who sing the original and the "dubbed." However that would be different for a music director, who just makes the music and reuses it for the dubbed film, thus he wouldn't really need credit for both versions. Nevertheless, I think this topic of singers getting credit for "dubbed" songs can generate a great discussion with some more Indian cinema taskforce editors to get a better consensus, and I sure hope we can--it's a good question. Good luck with that! EelamStyleZ (talk) 16:56, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Vijay-yesudas.gif requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ilaiyaraaja

Hi. I recently found in the article first line as "Regarded as one of the finest Indian film composer ever". But previously it was "Regarded as one of the greatest music composer of India".

finest indian film composer - does not really mean to illaiyaraaja's works and what he did and achieved. Ex., indian film composer means "he does only film music and it is restricting his abilities and great work within cinema alone." But I hope you will also agree me here. He thinks and creates music more than cinema. He has no boundaries to his vision and imagination. He relates music to every form of daily happening in real life like walking in road., going in bus, paper blowned away by wind etc., So he is a creator and the right way to mention here is "Music Composer of India" rather than "Indian film composer".

Off-course he did many things outside cinema also like "Thiruvasagam - an Old Tamil Poetry Symphony orchestration,. So he has no restriction to be called as "Indian film composer". Please try to understand what I mean here. Hope you receive me. Thanks !!

What is the possible encyclopedic value of "Notes" vs. "Awards"?

Please explain :[5] how in the world is "notes" better than "awards". "Notes" simply encourages the addition of un-valuable personal commentary while "awards" clearly defines acceptable content. The discussion of "cameo" and "guest" appearances is CLEARLY AND ONLY related to the "role" which is and existing column and there is no need to spread out related information into two columns. Active Banana (bananaphone 19:42, 19 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just cause everyone else is jumping off a bridge, doesnt mean that you need to follow.
No, it is not "policy". It may be the phrasing that many articles have, but you have not provided any valid reasoning that "notes" is better title for the column than "awards" for this article. Active Banana (bananaphone 20:15, 19 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If there is a reason, you should be able to find it and state why you are jumping of the bridge. I have provide reasons why the alternate formation is better <1) "cameo" and "guest" appearance are ROLE information and my headline encourage keeping like information together in one place and not strewn around through multiple columns 2) "awards" clearly defines encyclopedia content parameters rather than "notes" which encourages fans to populate with crufty "first time acting with Y" "4th time he appeared in a biopic role" "biggest megga ultrahit of June 200X" etc. )and you have yet to state anything other then "everyone else is doin it". Thats not very convincing. Active Banana (bananaphone 20:41, 19 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
[6] being WP:POINTY now warent we. You cannot justify it on even one page yet you take the time to add even more to your preferred version so that you can continue to argue "but others are like this". Active Banana (bananaphone 20:46, 19 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dubbed films - Wiki article

It is your misconception that if a film is a dubbed version, a Wiki page cannot be created. See example of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" which was originally Swedish. Don't make redirects to Wiki pages for this reason, especially when both films have its own identity.
