The 2012 PDC Pro Tour is a series of non-televised darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). They are the Professional Dart Players Association (PDPA) Players Championships, the UK Open Qualifiers, and the new European Tour events. This year there are 32 PDC Pro Tour events – 19 Players Championships, 8 UK Open Qualifiers, and 5 European Tour events.

Prize money

Prize money for each Players Championship and UK Open Qualifier is £34,600, unchanged from 2011. Prize money for each European Tour event is £79,200.

Stage Players Championships
and UK Open Qualifiers
European Tour events
Second round £200 £250
Third round £400 £1,000
Fourth round £600 £1,500
Quarter-finals £1,000 £2,500
Semi-finals £2,000 £4,000
Final £3,000 £7,000

In addition, £400 per Pro Tour event is reserved for a nine-dart finish. Should this not be won in an event, it is carried over to the next event, and so on until a nine-dart finish is achieved. Once the prize fund is won, it reverts to £400 for the next event.
