World Wrestling Entertainment / WWE
Florida Championship Wrestling (2010–2012)
In July 2010, WWE signed Bonin to a developmental contract, and she reported to Florida Championship Wrestling, WWE's developmental territory.[1] She debuted under the ring name Celeste, competing in a bikini contest. Her name would soon be changed to Ricki Vaughn, however, she never would actually debut under the name as she would soon change it to her NXT name Kaitlyn. On the August 29 episode of FCW television, she would make her FCW Television debut as a lumberjill at ringside for a match between AJ Lee and Naomi Night. On the November 7 episode of FCW television, Kaitlyn and Naomi Knight defeated A.J. Lee and Aksana.[6]
On the January 16, 2011 episode of FCW television, Kaitlyn competed in a winning effort against then Queen of FCW Rosa Mendes after Kaitlyn executed a Reverse STO, which she named the Wedgie Flatliner.[7] On the August 7 episode of FCW television, she teamed up with AJ and Caylee Turner defeating the team of Sonia, Aubrey Marie, and Raquel Diaz.[8] The next week on the August 14 episode of FCW telvision, Kaitlyn and Audrey Marie lost a diva tag team match against Naomi and Caylee Turner when Naomi pinned Audrey.[9] On the August 25 episode of FCW television, Kaitlyn and AJ competed in a diva tag team match in a winning effort against Maxine and Aksana.[10] On the October 23 episode of FCW television, Kaitlyn teamed with Caylee Turner in a losing effort to Naomi and Cameron Lynn after Naomi pinned Turner.[11]
NXT (2010)
On September 7, it was announced that Bonin would join season 3 of NXT, under the name Kaitlyn, with Vickie Guerrero as her storyline pro.[12] She was the replacement for Guerrero's original rookie, Aloisia, whom Guerrero fired in storyline.[13] That week, she unsuccessfully competed in both a "Dance Competition" (where she performed moves like the robot and running man), and a "Capture the Flag" contest.[14] The following week on the September 14 edition of NXT, Kaitlyn made her in-ring debut, when she teamed up with Guerrero's on-screen boyfriend Dolph Ziggler to defeat A.J. and Primo in a mixed tag team match, and also won the "Obstacle Course" challenge.[15][16] Kaitlyn made her first pay-per-view appearance at Night of Champions accompanying Dolph Ziggler with Vickie Guerrero until Guerrero ordered her to leave ringside.[17][18] On the September 21 edition of NXT, Kaitlyn and LayCool (Layla and Michelle McCool) lost to Kelly Kelly, Naomi, and Jamie in a six-Diva tag team match after Naomi pinned Kaitlyn, and ended the show after LayCool attacked her while Guerrero berated her.[19][20] That same week on the September 24 edition of SmackDown, Kaitlyn and Vickie Guerrero accompanied Dolph Ziggler to the ring for his match until Guerrero again ordered Kaitlyn to leave ringside, leading to Kaitlyn pushing her over before leaving.[21] On the September 28 edition of NXT, Kaitlyn won a wheelbarrow race and lost a "Diss the Diva" challenge, which lead to Vickie Guerrero entering the ring and insulting Kaitlyn until Kaitlyn challenges Guerrero to a match and ending the show with the two brawling.[22]
The next week on the October 5 edition of NXT, Kaitlyn lost the "Ride the Bull" competition, won the "Diva Talent Show" by drawing an insulting picture of Vickie Guerrero, and went on to main event the show winning her first singles match against Guerrero.[23] On the October 12 edition of NXT, Kaitlyn lost the "WWE Name that Tune" challenge and the "Power of the Punch" challenge.[24] The next week of NXT, Kaitlyn lost a match against Maxine, the "WWE Who's that Body" challenge, and the "Limbo" contest.[25] On the October 28 Halloween edition of NXT, Kaitlyn won a costume contest impersonating Vickie Guerrero, and lost a "Halloween Candy" competition due to her choking and then accidentally throwing up on Guerrero.[26] On the November 2 episode of NXT, Kaitlyn and Dolph Ziggler were found kissing behind a wall, and when Vickie confronted them, Kaitlyn threw a cake, which was meant for Goldust and Aksana's wedding, into her face.[27] On the November 5 edition of SmackDown, Kaitlyn and Vickie Guerrero faced each other in a rematch in which Vickie was victorious after her foot was on the ropes.[28] On the November 9 edition of NXT, Kaitlyn won an "Arm Wrestling" competition, and brawled again with Vickie Guerrero backstage.[29] The next week on the November 16 edition of NXT, Kaitlyn was defeated by Naomi in singles competition, and was safe from elimination.[30] On the November 30 season finale episode of NXT, Kaitlyn defeated Naomi in a rematch, and was later announced as the winner of season three, defeating Naomi in the final.[5] That same night, Dolph Ziggler was announced as a pro for NXT Season 4.[31]
SmackDown; NXT appearances (2010–present)
On the December 3 edition of SmackDown, Kaitlyn appeared in a backstage segment with Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler, announcing that SmackDown! General Manager Theodore Long had signed her to the brand following her victory on NXT.[2][32] She made her in-ring debut on the December 13 edition of Monday Night Raw in a diva battle royal to determine the 2010 Diva of the Year, which was won by Michelle McCool.[33][34] On the January 28 edition of Smackdown, Kaitlyn made her debut for the brand teaming with Kelly Kelly in a losing effort to LayCool.[35] Kaitlyn later lost in singles competition against Layla on the March 11 edition of Smackdown.[36] She made her televised return on the May 2 edition of Raw, when she was seen backstage with the other divas celebrating The Rock's birthday.[37]
On the May 27 edition of Smackdown, Kaitlyn teamed with the debuting AJ (who team as The Chickbusters, a play on The Dudebusters) were accompanied by Natalya and came in a losing effort to Alicia Fox and Tamina after she was pinned by Alicia.[38] Her losing streak continued the following week, as she and AJ, accompanied again by Natalya, lost a return match to Alicia Fox and Tamina, who were this time accompanied by Rosa Mendes, when AJ was pinned by Tamina.[39] On the June 13 edition of Raw, an All-Star special, Kaitlyn was victorious, in a 7 on 7 diva tag team match, teaming with Beth Phoenix, Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly, Natalya, AJ and Eve Torres to defeat The Bella Twins, Melina, Alicia Fox, Rosa Mendes, Maryse and Tamina.[40] On the August 1 Raw, Kaitlyn was part of a battle royal to become the number one contender for the WWE Divas Championship at Summerslam pay-per-view, but failed to win the match after being eliminated by Tamina, and Beth Phoenix ultimately winning the match.[41] On the October 19 edition of NXT Redemption, Kaitlyn was accompanied to the ring by fellow Chickbuster AJ, and went on to win her first singles competition against Maxine via submission.[42][43] The next week on the October 26 edition of NXT Redemption, Kaitlyn defeated Tamina in a singles match.[44] Kaitlyn appeared on the October 31 Halloween edition of Raw, competing in a diva battle royal to determine the #1 contender for the divas title against Beth Phoenix at the Survivor Series pay-per-view, which was ultimately won by Eve Torres.[45] On the November 2 edition of NXT Redemption, Kaitlyn again continued her winning streak by defeating Tamina in her hometown of Houston, Texas.[46] At the Survivor Series pay-per-view, Kaitlyn appeared with the other divas as a lumberjill in a WWE Divas Championship match involving Beth Phoenix and Eve Torres.[47][48] On the November 25 edition Smackdown, the Chickbusters lost a rematch to The Divas of Doom.[49] On the December 9 edition of SmackDown, The Chickbusters again lost to The Divas of Doom.[50][51]
Kaitlyn then began a feud with Maxine on NXT after Maxine accused Kaitlyn of liking her boyfriend, Derrick Bateman.
