A few articles with pending changes have appeared on my watchlist recently, and it would be useful to be able to review those. I already spend a fair amount of effort checking recent edits. I have developed a good understanding of all the relevant policies and have read the guideline on reviewing. I've already held both rollback and autopatrolled rights for a long time. I have recently contributed to and discussed several contentious articles, and in the process, I have learned a lot about wikipedia policies and culture. I think I have a clear idea of what is and is not appropriate content, and I am confident I can apply that judgment tactfully. For example, I recently removed inappropriate content at Dagga Party and participated in an RfC on Talk:Ludwig_Wittgenstein.
