I don't think the keep rationale in this AfD was strong enough to make it a "no consensus" close (unless it's with [[WP:NPASR|no prejudice against speedy renomination]]). As an alternative, would you consider relisting it for a third tour? [[User talk:Czar|czar]] 04:52, 26 January 2016 (UTC) |

Buck Satan and the 666 Shooters
Take a a more careful look at what you blocked as "vandalism" on the Buck Satan and the 666 shooters article. What you blocked was actually adequately sourced and accurate, and I was trying to add addiional cites when your people kept undoing my edits and creating a conflict (causing me to lose my work). The problem stemmed from your colleagues not liking the new content and removing it under false pretenses, not from a problem with what was added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.17.167.42 (talk) 15:57, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
- @178.17.167.42: Even if we were to take your claim here as accurate, the actions taken by yourself to edit war are completely against our accepted policies here. The page will remain protected, and if you want to have any changes made to the article you will have to actually discuss your requested changes on the article's talk page (with "[my] people"). - No one is allowed to make unilateral changes to this site, we are a community; and if you wish to be a part of it, you will have to abide by our guidelines as laid out on WP:EQ. — Coffee // have a cup // beans // 16:07, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
- I'm asking you to rethink this one. reasons: The page is well-sourced. All spouses of the major candidates have pages. This is the only one being questioned, and Marco Rubio is the only candidate with a template at the top of his page (relating to the merge discussion that was rolled over into the AFD. Ordinarily, it would be reasonable to allow a discussion to continue for another week. However, with the Iowa caucuses on Feb. 1 and the New Hampshire primary the next week, it seems a bit WP:POINTY to have a template questioning the notability of Rubio's wife, and no similar tags on Melania Trump, Columba Bush, or Katie O'Malley . I have no idea what the motivation of the editor who started the Merge discussion on Rubio's wife's page was. Only that it seems inappropriate for Wikipedia to appear to be allowing ourselves to be gamed at a crucial moment in a heated election campaign.E.M.Gregory (talk) 01:09, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
- E.M.Gregory: After taking your thoughts into consideration I have decided to close the Article for Deletion discussion, instead of pushing the conversation into another week. I closed the AFD as keep, per WP:GNG as noted in my closing statement there... thank you for the heads up. — Coffee // have a cup // beans // 03:02, 20 January 2016 (UTC)

Hey!
Welcome back, Coffee! It's been a while. I hope you continue to find this place interesting. Liz Read! Talk! 00:47, 21 January 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks Liz, indeed it has! I'm glad to see you're still here. :) — Coffee // have a cup // beans // 19:49, 21 January 2016 (UTC)
- Things here got pretty dicey for me during my RfA last August but I'm plugging away, helping out as I can. Liz Read! Talk! 19:52, 21 January 2016 (UTC)
- Holy shit, I didn't realize you got the promotion! Welcome to the admin community Liz; I'm very happy such a well deserved editor got the bit. Only wish I could have been around to co-nominate. — Coffee // have a cup // beans // 19:54, 21 January 2016 (UTC)
- Well, it wasn't a smooth ride, by any means and I was surprised by some of the strong opposes (diff). It was decided by a Crat chat and that Crat chat talk page is 286,278 bytes long. To be viewed as controversial was unexpected but I ended up having sufficient support. I do feel a little envious of candidates who sailed through the process but at least, regarding me, people have made their opinions known and they are public. Better to know individuals' true thoughts about you than assume the best (or the worst) and then discover you're wrong. I have more sympathy for anyone going through the arbitration process than I did before. Liz Read! Talk! 20:24, 21 January 2016 (UTC)

Hello Coffee, I made a request to redirect Abdur Rahman Madani to Peace_TV_Bangla#Staffs_and_presenters, here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_creation/Redirects/2015-12#Redirect_request:_Abdur_Rahman_Madani, but because it is SALTed this can't be done, is it possible to unsalt it so it can be done, thank you. 81.129.156.118 (talk) 11:09, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
RHYS HATFIELD From Hawes
Hi Coffee. Thanks for your intervention with User:RHYS HATFIELD From Hawes. I must confess to some bafflement as to whether they were actively/deliberately vandalising, or incompetent, or very young, or somewhat old, or what. A couple of us had attempted to offer help/advice but it was unclear whether we were going to get anywhere. What happens now? If they come up with a coherent unblock request might you look at it again please? I know it might well be a lost cause but ... anyway, thanks very much and all good wishes DBaK (talk) 21:21, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
