Biswanath Rath was born in Jeypore[8]. He is an alumnus of Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Warangal. During 2007-2014, he worked in many Multi National Companys like Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Nissan Ashok Leyland Technologies Limited and Ford India Private Limited. He is a Post-Graduate in Screenwriting and Film Direction at Cheeseflicks, which is mentored by John E.[9]

In 2015, he founded film production company BnR Films LLP with his wife Archana Rath.
