Ahmed Nagar Chattha[1] is a small town in Gujranwala District, Punjab, Pakistan.

Demography

Ahmed Nager Chatha has a population of over 40,000 and is located about 45 kilometers northwest of Gujranwala city. The population is over 99% Muslim. Most people in the town speak Punjabi, though almost all of them can also speak national language of Pakistan, Urdu. English is spoken by educated elite.

Youth Institute of Technology is a only Computer College in Ahmad Nagar Chattha which was established in 2017 with the affiliation of Cisco Systems and Microsoft Corporation for short hand computer courses.[3][4][5]

Youth Academy

Youth Academy is another one of the well known educational Institute in Ahmad Nagar Chattha which fulfill the educational needs of people of Ahmad Ngara Chattha and its surroundings. This is the only Institute in Ahmad Nagar Chattha which provide education to the University level students.[6][7]

Pro. Abdul Hafeez Taib (Death:12 Jun 2004)[8] Renowned Poet as Radio Pakistan write about him "A special feature about “Hafiz Taib”, who is widely regarded as one of the most prominent and renowned Naatia poets of Pakistan. He rose to be a shining star on the horizons of Naatia Poetry of 20th century being composed in Pakistan. His poetry enlightened the darkened hearts. The whole world still resounds with Hafeez Taib’s Naats."[9]

Communication

The only way to get to Ahmed Nager Chattha is by road. Besides driving your own car (which takes about 30 minutes from Gujranwala or Wazirabad), one can also catch a bus or van from Gujranwala or Wazirabad to get there. Ahmed Nagar Chatha is connected with Wazirabad via Wazirabad-Rasul Nagar Highway, though the city is situated a few kilometers aways from this highway. Another road connects it with Gujranwala via Kalaskay. This city has a direct link with Gakhar via NoorKot.

Economy

Most people in the town work in agricultural related fields, while some are also involved in trading activities.

Youth Group Limited is a group of multiple different industries within it. Some well known groups are Media Group, Sport industry and Educational institution[14][15]

Ifikhar Traders doing import and expert business from 2011 in Ahmad nagar Chattha with different countries of the world as a register member of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce.[16][17]
