Muthoot Pappachan Group (MPG) is an Indian business house headquartered in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. The company has the slogan 'Blue is Belief',[1] and encompasses several businesses, including financial services, automotive dealerships, hospitality, real estate, health care, information technology, precious metals and alternate energy. The business was started in 1887 by Muthoot Ninan Mathai.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]

Muthoot Fincorp is the flagship company of Muthoot Pappachan Group which deals in gold loans, MSME loans and other lending services.

Corporate history

The company has been in operation for 130 years. Initially, the company mainly supplied wholesale goods to the estates owned by in the region.

Currently the group has 20,000 employees working at 3,800 branches in India.[10][11][12][3][13][14]

Sponsorship at Kerala Blasters FC

Muthoot Pappachan Group is the official shirt sponsor of Kerala Blasters FC from on 29 September 2014 to till date. The club competes in the Indian Super League, the top tier of Indian Football. They are also the shirt sponsors of the reserve team of the Blasters, the Kerala Blasters FC 'B'.[38][39]
