Welcome!
Hello, LiliyaBulgakova, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Help me-ns
Thank you for your message! I think I need your help as I couldn't find the way to ask you to proofread my article :( As I understand, this option should be available in the article talk page where I can request a peer review, but I couldn't find my article talk page. probably because it's still in the sandbox? I would really appreciate your advice on this! Regarding conflicts of interest, I do not currently have any conflicts of this nature and not paid for this article. I created it because I worked for Digital Finance LLC as a Compliance Officer back in 2017 and was really impressed by the open-mindedness of their management team and their innovative approach in the highly regulated Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) space. I stopped working for this company in the beginning of 2018. Later, in 2019, I accidentally found out that Digital Finance LLC started specializing exclusively in the digital assets space and became registered with SEC, which was a big deal, as RIA space is very conservative and there are still only a few RIAs in the U.S. that are specializing in digital assets. To clarify, in 2017, Digital Finance LLC was registered as an intrastate advisor in D.C. only and received its SEC registration (on the federal level) in 2019. I googled the firm and found out that they are specializing primarily in the Bitcoin market. They have a Google My Business profile with many positive reviews from their customers. BTW, I probably should have included this link to the article as well? Finally, when I googled this firm, I found out that they invented a new financial instrument that provided indirect exposure to Bitcoin, without any fees. I was really impressed about this, as I have financial background and I know there no other similar products currently available in the U.S. market. Maxim Nurov, CEO of Digital Finance, was always curious about innovations in the digital asset space, and I think his firm deserves some public recognition. I did some research and found information about his efforts on Bitcoin advocacy and this is truly amazing, what he is doing for the digital assets industry. I believe such firms as Digital Finance are shaping the FinTech industry and making digital assets market more transparent and efficient. Please let me know if any additional information is needed on my side. Also, I added two links to the Washington Biz Journal articles that require a paid subscription. I wanted Wikipedia users to be able to read these articles and can provide PDF versions but not sure how to add links to PDF copies of the articles in the Digital Finance Wiki page. Please let me know if this is needed and how can I do this. I'm sorry for the long reply but I really want Digital Finance page be available to Wiki users so they can learn more about innovative and respected companies in the digital assets space. Thank you so much for your time and consideration!

Kind regards, Liliya

Hello,
I'm sorry the PDF version of the article was not attached to the Wiki page about Digital Finance initially. I fixed that now and changed the reference #4. Currently, this is a Washington Business Journal article about Digital Finance LLC and its innovative financial product, in the PDF format. I've chosen this format as the paid subscription is needed to read the article on the Washington Business Journal website. Here is the link, for your reference: https://www.bizjournals.com/washington/news/2020/01/22/this-crypto-expert-is-back-with-a-new-fund-and-hes.html
Hopefully, this independent media resource will be sufficient to prove that Digital Finance is a notable company in the digital assets space.

Kind Regards, Liliya

I'm so sorry! My last message had to be sent to another Wikipedia reviewer. Sorry for any inconvenience!

DS notification for blockchain and cryptocurrencies
Sorry about that daunting notice, but Wikipedia has had terrible problems with cryptocurrency and blockchain advocacy in the recent past so as a general topic area it needs to be handled very gingerly.

Your draft still needs considerable work if it is to become an accepted article since it is not relying primarily on independent reporting about Digital Finance as a company. Such references may well exist and, if you can find them, I suggest you use them as the basis for the article rather than writing statements that you then attempt to support by finding any viable source that can be mined for the information. I realize that you may be new and this article is still in its early stages; please don't be discouraged. <span style="color:#2eb85c">—&nbsp;jmcgnh</span><small><span style="color:#1e5213">(talk)</span>&nbsp;<span style="color:#73b516">(contribs)</span></small> 06:47, 28 June 2020 (UTC)

Thank you very much for your comments and advice! I just added two PDF documents, which can serve as independent sources about Digital Finance and its management. It is a Washington, D.C., company, and local media (Washington Business Journal) periodically publishes an interview with the firm management. Hopefully, it will add value and credibility to the Wiki article about Digital Finance. Also, they have a Google My Business page with very positive customer reviews. Though I'm not sure if it makes sense to add this to the Wiki article. Basically, if you put "Digital Finance LLC" in the Google search, you will immediately see information about the company, its location, reviews, etc.

Hello,
Thank you for the prompt response. There was a reference to the article in the Washington Business Journal in the "Digital Finance" Wiki page. This article was fully devoted to Digital Finance LLC and its innovative financial product (floating rate debt instrument linked to the Bitcoin performance). The media source is reliable and independent. The file with the article about Digital Finance LLC has ben added to the Wiki page: Could you confirm I can resubmit the article for further review? The company itself is notable because they were one of the first, if not the first, investment advisory firms in the United States that became registered with SEC while operating in the digital assets market. They also invented a unique financial product, which was discussed in the above mentioned independent article (Washington Business Journal). The article was not paid and the Washington Business Journal is highly respected and reliable source. Please let me know whether it's possible to resubmit the article. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration!

Kind regards, Liliya

Hello,
Please kindly note that I resubmitted the article for review. The article has a reference #4 to an independent, reliable source (Washington Business Journal), which published an article about Digital Finance and its invention - floating rate debt instrument linked to the Bitcoin performance. Besides that, Wikipedia article has references to the SEC website, where you can see that Digital Finance was actually registered as investment advisor in the digital assets space and that it filed with SEC its innovative financial product. Besides that, Wikipedia article about Digital Finance mentions efforts of the firm with regard to Bitcoin advocacy. They organized a Blockchain forum with SEC Commissioner and educated American lawmakers on the Capital Hill. That being said, please re review the article about Digital Finance. I believe it deserves a coverage in Wikipedia, as they were:
1) one of the first, if not the first investment advisor registered with SEC in the digital assets space;
2) invented an innovative financial product, which performance was linked to the Bitcoin performance;
3) organized blockchain forum, where SEC Commissioner participated, and educated American congressmen about digital assets.
The company is doing really important things in terms of the digital assets industry development and regulation, and I believe it would be great if people are able to find this information in Wikipedia. Thank you again for your time.

Sincerely, Liliya

Setting expectations
I saw you asking about the decline (you mistakenly called it a rejection) of your Draft:Digital Finance submission. Based on your repeated resubmissions without addressing the fundamental problems with the draft, I'm getting the impression that you simply don't understand what you are being told.

You need to start with in-depth, independent articles about your subject. You should avoid interviews, brief mentions, SEC filings, and anything where the company is announcing something itself or has a press release being lightly retreaded into a "news" article. None of those sorts of references (while they may be used in limited ways) can be used to establish notability for the organization. If you have the right sort of in-depth coverage, you should find the information in your source rather than having to mine it from primary documents such as SEC filings.

In addition, the fact that the company's founder has published stuff or has been quoted as an expert is largely irrelevant for getting the draft accepted at this stage because they do not speak to the notability of the company.

So please stop resubmitting until you have some actual in-depth coverage.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place Help me before the question. Again, welcome!

Hello, I'm sorry the PDF version of the article was not attached to the Wiki page about Digital Finance initially. I fixed that now and changed the reference #4. Currently, this is a Washington Business Journal article about Digital Finance LLC and its innovative financial product, in the PDF format. I've chosen this format as the paid subscription is needed to read the article on the Washington Business Journal website. Here is the link, for your reference: https://www.bizjournals.com/washington/news/2020/01/22/this-crypto-expert-is-back-with-a-new-fund-and-hes.html Hopefully, this independent media resource will be sufficient to prove that Digital Finance is a notable company in the digital assets space.

Kind Regards, Liliya

I'm so sorry! My last message had to be sent to another Wikipedia reviewer. Sorry for any inconvenience!

DS notification for blockchain and cryptocurrencies

Please read this notice carefully.

You are receiving this notice because you recently edited one or more pages relating to blockchain or cryptocurrencies topics. You have not done anything wrong. We just want to alert you that "general" sanctions are authorized for certain types of edits to those pages.

A community decision has authorized the use of general sanctions for pages related to blockchain and cryptocurrencies, such as User:LiliyaBulgakova/sandbox/Digital Finance, which you have recently edited. The details of these sanctions are described here. All pages that are broadly related to these topics are subject to a one revert per twenty-four hours restriction, as described here.

General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after the editor has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

— jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 06:47, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The file with the article about Digital Finance LLC has ben added to the Wiki page:

File:Washington Biz Journal About Digital Finance.pdf
Article About Digital Finance

Could you confirm I can resubmit the article for further review? The company itself is notable because they were one of the first, if not the first, investment advisory firms in the United States that became registered with SEC while operating in the digital assets market. They also invented a unique financial product, which was discussed in the above mentioned independent article (Washington Business Journal). The article was not paid and the Washington Business Journal is highly respected and reliable source. Please let me know whether it's possible to resubmit the article. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration!

Kind regards, Liliya

Hello, Please kindly note that I resubmitted the article for review. I believe it deserves a coverage in Wikipedia, as they were: 1) one of the first, if not the first investment advisor registered with SEC in the digital assets space; 2) invented an innovative financial product, which performance was linked to the Bitcoin performance; 3) organized blockchain forum, where SEC Commissioner participated, and educated American congressmen about digital assets.

— jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 03:04, 2 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Note also that we do not accept links to scans and other files stored somewhere on the web, as in this age of Photoshop documents can be doctored to say whatever you want. If a reference is not available online, then we need a meticulous detailed reference such as you would use in a Ph.D. thesis, to the original publication. --Orange Mike | Talk 03:10, 2 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
