This page documents notable tornadoes and tornado outbreaks worldwide in 2021. Strong and destructive tornadoes form most frequently in the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Bangladesh, and Eastern India, but can occur almost anywhere under the right conditions. Tornadoes also develop occasionally in southern Canada during the Northern Hemisphere's summer and somewhat regularly at other times of the year across Europe, Asia, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand. Tornadic events are often accompanied by other forms of severe weather, including strong thunderstorms, strong winds, and hail.
There have been ten preliminary filtered reports of tornadoes in the United States in 2021, nine of which have been confirmed. One tornado-related death has been confirmed.

January
There have been nine tornadoes reported in the United States in January, of which eight have been confirmed.
January 2 (Indonesia)
A rain-wrapped cone tornado touched down in Slangit Village within the Cirebon Regency, flattening three houses and destroying eight others. The tornado also downed several trees, some of them close to houses which suffered minor damage.[2]
January 25
A significant tornado produced extensive damage in Fultondale, Alabama at 10:45 pm CST. Numerous homes and businesses were heavily damaged or destroyed, and numerous injuries were reported. At least one person was confirmed to have been killed. The tornado rating has been preliminarily rated EF3.[3][4]
