Boring details

  • computer hobbyist since 1983 (or arguably since 1980); caller of various bulletin board systems in the San Gabriel Valley during the 1980s and 1990s
  • user (but not member) of Wikipedia since 2003 (but I still feel like a newbie)

The userboxes should tell the rest of my story.

Notable work history excerpts

  • employed at PICA, a subsidiary of ProAssurance, from 2012 to 2014
  • worked at Cummins in 2018 as a contractor from ABBTECH Professional Resources

Political Compass

  • June 19, 2017
    • NOTA BENE:
      • (A) There were several statements in the test that I thought were ambiguous, for which I selected my answer choices according to the points that I thought that those statements were intended to make.
      • (B) There were several other statements in the test with which I partially agreed and partially disagreed, but the test did not provide a "Partially agree and partially disagree" answer choice, so I instead chose "Agree" or "Disagree" to the best of my discernment.
      • I felt like a square peg being shoved through...not a round hole...maybe a lozenge-shaped hole. I expected to be placed in the Authoritarian Right quadrant, but I was placed in the Libertarian Right quadrant - which I suspect was the result of my compensatory actions described above.

    • You scored as Cultural Creative. Cultural Creatives are probably the newest group to enter this realm. You are a modern thinker who tends to shy away from organized religion but still feels as if there is something greater than ourselves. You are very spiritual, even if you are not religious. Life has a meaning outside of the rational.
