POTD notification

POTD

Hi Alex,

Just to let you know, the Featured Picture File:Tripedalia-cystophora.png is scheduled to be Picture of the Day on October 20, 2016. If you get a chance, you can check and improve the caption at Template:POTD/2016-10-20. Thank you for all of your contributions! — Chris Woodrich (talk) 23:26, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

File:Portrait of Vasily Konovalenko (1984) with his gem sculpture "Grandmother".jpg

Hi Ruthven. Since you added {{OTRS permission}} to File:Portrait of Vasily Konovalenko (1984) with his gem sculpture "Grandmother".jpg, I am wondering if there's any reason it still needs a non-free use rationale. If not, then maybe converting the rationale to {{Information}} would be OK; otherwise, it may eventually be flagged by a bot as {{Wrong-license}}. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:29, 18 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Cancellatore

Thanks ;) --Lucas (talk) 10:15, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

--Ruthven (msg) 10:19, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
:-D --Lucas (talk) 10:31, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
;) --Lucas (talk) 16:23, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

About a recent edit

Hello, at your recent edit on Consumers Distributing about the logo, you forgot to remove the size and the characters around the file name. It should be written only Consumers Distributing logo.jpg on the line to be standardized, these characters and size logo are not essential and not standardized on Wikipedia. It would be welcome if you edit that, because we need to be a registered user, the page is locked for now. Thank You. Quotabowl (talk) 23:03, 30 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Quotabowl: Better now? --Ruthven (msg) 23:08, 30 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, OTRS like OTRS, but the logo was changed, that logo is no more the logo that is used by the club. Rhinen

Hi Ruthven, this account on it.wiki is a confirmed sock of 84101e40247 (see this archived sock report). Considering the way that they make socks, I thought you may want to take a closer look. Cheers,

@Berean Hunter:  Done Thanks. I haven't found any other sock on it.wiki for the moment, and the other accounts haven't edited there. Lemme know if there are some developments. Cheers! --Ruthven (msg) 09:30, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!

Stubs

Please take care not to waste other editors' time by adding {{stub}} to an article like Crisiidae which already has a specific stub, and also remember that all stub tags go at the top, not the end - see WP:ORDER. Thanks. PamD 00:33, 23 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, I must have been tired when I typed that: I meant to say that stubs must go at the end, not the top! Sorry about that. PamD 08:28, 23 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Filippo Cammarano

Hello, Ruthven,

Thank you for creating Filippo Cammarano.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Thanks for creating this article.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Abishe}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Abishe (talk) 12:02, 30 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Abishe. For the references, they are all in the page. If you check the Treccani, there are all the information I added and even more, but I feel that it's pointless to repeat the same reference to every sentence. Soon I'll write another page to link this one. Cheers! --Ruthven (msg) 17:04, 30 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
