Mobilization in Donetsk and Luhansk People's RepublicsMobilization in the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic – For the WP:CRITERION of WP:PRECISION, because the Donetsk People's Republic is not Donetsk. And WP:CONSISTENCY with:

  • Support per nom. Super Ψ Dro 18:22, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. More concise. Title is plural "republics", not singular. It is grammatically clear. There is no danger of confusion. Walrasiad (talk) 23:16, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If plural, then the plural common noun people’s republics oughtn’t be capitalized, as in its exact equivalent people’s republics of Donetsk and Luhansk.  —Michael Z. 23:33, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. No ambiguity concerns, these are just Russian puppet regimes. 罗放 (talk) 16:52, 15 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. I don't particularly like the proposed title because it's too long. However, since my mother tongue is not English, I'd like you to tell me which one of the following two formulations is preferable in terms of precision and grammar: "Mobilization in the People's Republics of Luhansk and Donetsk" or "Mobilization in Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics". Given that "Republics" is plural, I don't see how the latter title (which is also the actual title) can be misunderstood as "Moblization in (the city of) Donetsk and in the Luhansk People's Republics". However, it's possible that "Mobilization in the People's Republics of Luhansk and Donetsk" is equally precise and correct. I understand Michael's point about capitalization but I have no opinion nor preference on that. Gitz (talk) (contribs) 22:24, 15 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
