Glenn Emanuel Ressler (born May 21, 1943) is an American former football offensive lineman who played in the National Football League (NFL) from 1965 through 1974 for the Baltimore Colts, playing his first season as an offensive tackle and his second season at center.

Biography

Early years

Collegiate career

He played college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions, where he won the Maxwell Award in 1964.

Professional career

He was selected by the Colts in the third round (36th overall) in the 1965 NFL Draft. He was also selected by the Denver Broncos in the third round (17th overall) of the 1965 AFL Draft.

Life after football

Ressler was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2001.[1]
