Before joining, I realised that there are many minor mistakes (grammatical, spelling etc.) in several articles, so I intend to use this account to rectify those errors. Also, my school's address is blocked so this will help with my editing. Furthermore, as my mathematical knowledge develops - as I'm doing A level maths, and intend to further it at university - I may be able to contribute to the [[portal:mathematics|mathematics portal]]. So until later, most of my edits will be minor, and I'll try not to be [[hypercorrect]].<br />

Full explanation

In the light of recent controversy over the use of User:UBX, I feel it necessary to explain further what this account is used for.

First, let me say that this is not an attempt to move all userboxes everywhere to a subdirectory of User:UBX. It is not an attempt to create a pseudo-namespace for userboxes. It is not meant to anger or confuse anyone, and I'm really sorry for the problems it has caused.

The sole reason why I created User:UBX was to host userboxes userfied via the Userbox Migration. The project had started to slow down, and I wanted to jump start it again, so I decided to host boxes myself and fix transclusions to point to the new locations with my bot, User:MetsBot. I didn't want to host the userboxes in subpages of User:Mets501, for various reasons, so I decided to host them here, in subpages of User:UBX.

This is not a new twist on the userbox migration, just something that has been taking place for a while, but instead of a user migrating the boxes, I feed the boxes to my bot to migrate to this userspace. I am not migrating all userboxes in sight, just ones which are of no benefit to the project.

I hope that this clears things up a bit, and thank you for reading.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask on User talk:Mets501. I am not trying to conceal anything from anyone, or do anything undercover, and again, I apologize if it came across that way.
