Faith of a Mustard Seed is the fourth studio album by American record producer Mustard. It was released through 10 Summers Records and BMG Rights Management on July 26, 2024.[1] Preceded by the singles "Parking Lot",[2] "Pray for Me", and "One Bad Decision", it will feature guest appearances from Kirk Franklin, Lil Yachty, BlueBucksClan, 42 Dugg, Quavo, Rob49, Travis Scott, Ty Dolla Sign, Charlie Wilson, Masego, Blxst, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Roddy Ricch, Future, Ella Mai, Kodak Black, Young Thug, and Lil Durk. It marks Mustard's first album in five years since the release of Perfect Ten (2019), and is his first release under a partnership with BMG.

Release and promotion

While teasing the release of a new album since the summer of 2022, the momentum of Kendrick Lamar's Mustard-produced "Not Like Us" in May 2024 pushed Mustard to finally announce the release of Faith of a Mustard Seed on June 5, 2024, after posting the official album trailer to his YouTube channel.[1][3][4] Following the album announcement, Schoolboy Q retweeted Mustard's album trailer, stating that he'd already heard the album while sharing his opinion on it: "Heard it. S— go dumb. LA bout to do it again… LA up this year".[3][5][6] On June 10, Mustard had taken to his Instagram to share the album's official cover art and release date.[7] On June 17, Mustard announced the album's lead single, "Parking Lot", sharing its artwork and release date for June 21.[2] Just a day later, on June 18, Mustard announced that the single would be assisted by Travis Scott, sharing a snippet of the track.[2][8] It was officially released on June 21 as the album's lead single.[9]
