Of which I'm particularly proud...
Firstly, some of my very amateur but passionate photography used on wikipedia. And then...
- Indonesian National Revolution - major rewrite and thorough referencing. Expansion of discussion from a few military campaigns to coverage of total revolution and its wider context.
- Indonesian architecture - new article by myself; a fascinating topic on which i couldn't believe there wasn't an earlier article. Hopefully we will continue to see sub articles appear such as Tongkonan and Omo sebua.
- Governor Phillip Tower - a major expansion.
- U2 - general and constant maintenance and copyedits. Also, re-write pivotal Unforgettable Fire and Joshua Tree sections. I re-wrote the lead and added all the quote boxes - it took some time to find and choose the most fitting quotes. Of course, i was only part of collaborative effort on this page.
- Template:FA-inlineIndonesia - a significant player in major collaborative effort and constant maintenance. Write or re-write of geography, ecology, economics and current issues sections.
- Numerous edits over numerous articles covering the History of Indonesia.
...and, please have a look at some of my very amateur but passionate photography at the bottom of this page
Some of the articles I've created...
- Timeline of the Indonesian National Revolution - needs pics!
- Timeline of Indonesian History - I've already put a lot of work in here, but needs so much more.
- Indonesian architecture - yes, mentioned already
- United States of Indonesia
- Omo sebua - a lot more work is needed here including pics and elevation sketches.
- Tongkonan - amazing aren't they?
- Pendopo
- Bung Tomo
- Tomé Pires - more work to do here. One day I hope to read Suma Oriental.
- The coming of Islam to Indonesia (1200 to 1600) - a fair bit more work to do here.
- Pattimura
- E.U. Pupella
Works in progress (and things I'd like to get around to soon)...
- Sultanate of Demak - currently re-writing from reliable text.
Other major expansions or re-writes...
- Banda Islands - expansion of history section. I've actually been here. Where a girl (who became my wife) and I really got to first know each other.
- List of tallest buildings in Sydney - sorted mess out, added much new and corrected data.
- Mount Merbabu - yes, my wikipedia namesake! I missed out on creating this by a few hours. But major contribs.
- Francisco Serrão
- Emergency Government of the Republic of Indonesia
Not necessarily major contributions, but I love these...
Great articles I wish I had written (or re-written)

The Barnstar of National Merit
Before you excuse yourself that this is not your only work, but it is your effort to make Indonesia article as Featured Article. Congrats!! You deserve this barnstar and even more because you're not even an Indonesian. Perhaps I can give you tanda jasa kehormatan negara, but I'm not a president yet. ;-) — Indon (reply) — 11:42, 1 June 2007 (UTC) |

Navala village in Fiji's Nausori Highlands. I stayed a weekend with a family here in one of these Bures. Loved it so much i went back up there for another weekend on my second Fiji trip.

Arguably more than most Indonesian rumah adat, Javanese vernacular homes have incorporated more European elements. While the basic form is Javanese, in particular the joglo roof, the doors are distinctly European.

Art Deco-inflluenced Dutch East Indies colonial architecture in Bandung, Indonesia (see Indonesian architecture).
