You see, the problem here is Virtua Tennis is actually a good game. Just because it's tennis and features game mascots doesn't mean it's some copy of Mario. |

Remake?
Has anyone else noticed (if you've read Nintendo Power) that this game is almost a remade version of Mario Power Tennis, Sega style? Sonicxtreme (talk) 22:41, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
it's not a remake it uses the virtua tennis engine.71.199.67.186 21:18, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
Yes, but all the characters have character specific moves that they can use to hit the ball. Same as Mario Power Tennis. My comment about it being a remake was just a generalization of the game. Sorry if I confused you. Sonicxtreme 21:24, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Spam...?
Seems that this page is getting lots of spam, too. If not spam, then at least unsourced information. I've seen nothing to indicate characters from Virtua Fighters (though this wouldn't surprise me), Shinobi, or Billy Hatcher (again, though, wouldn't surprise me, at least for Billy), nor have I seen anything on the appearance of Amiga. There's also "Curien's Mansion," "Yuki Dojo," and three series' marked as having unknown stages, none of which are sourced, nor have I seen anything about them. There's also, as far as I know, no confirmation that Eggman's Base is actually Scrap Brain Zone. Same goes for the beach level being Coconut Beach. I'm not saying that this is not the case, I'm simply saying that nothing is sourced, nor have any confirmations been made. If there is something to confirm it, please, let me know, though more importantly, ADD THE SOURCES! If not, then I think such things should be deleted/changed to describe what is known about them. --Ultima (talk) 09:28, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, forgot something above. There IS a source about Rolly Roll, but it doesn't state anything about her. That can be removed, too. If there's a "true" source that actually confirms her, then it can be added in. --Ultima (talk) 09:31, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- The 'source' for Rolly Roll is clearly a picture of Amy Rose.91.105.137.164 (talk) 13:19, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
Scrap Brain Zone, O RLY?
Really, as much as I love that level I need PROOF, OR THIS SHALL BE DISREGARDADED AS BLASPHEMY AND MADNESS! Allyourbasearebelongtousomg (talk) 23:58, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
Actually, I just guessed with Scrap Brain Zone and Coconut Beach, and it turns out I was right. [1]
Alex Kidd Confirmed!
I know you guys are going to jump the first chance you can to say otherwise, but in a recent ad Alex Kidd was confirmed! I'm honestly speechless. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sega Uranus (talk • contribs) 07:40, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
Reliable source?
Is this interview a reliable source: http://www.southportpast.com/~squarcle/newsboard/?q=node/59 ?
It looks like the THE GHZ fansite, but the URL is not the normal one? - Olddog —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.144.31.0 (talk) 09:31, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
