"I Just Wanna Live" is the second single from Good Charlotte's third studio album, The Chronicles of Life and Death. It was one of the songs that Sony paid radio stations to play in the 2005 payola scandal. [1]

- The song Good Charlotte play in the bar at the start of the video is "Mountain", another song on the album The Chronicles of Life and Death.
- Reference is made to the Paris Hilton sex tape, 1 Night in Paris.
- The video pokes fun at Ashlee Simpson's Saturday Night Live lipsynching disaster, with Joel Madden "forgetting" the words to the song, parodying the dance Simpson did, and the magazine covers claiming Madden was sick at the time.
