The 2008 Canadian Championship is a soccer tournament that is taking place in the cities of Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver in 2008.
Participating teams are Montreal Impact, Toronto FC and Vancouver Whitecaps. The tournament consists of a home and away series between each team for a total of six games. The winner of the tournament will gain entry into the qualifying round of the CONCACAF Champions League 2008-09,[1] [2] [3][4] where they will play against the Nicaraguan representative Real Esteli in a home and away series to determine entrance to the group stages.[5]
The tournament is currently sponsored by Nutrilite and is known as the Nutrilite Canadian Championship.[6]
The first-place team will be awarded the Voyageurs Cup trophy. [7]
