Polish and Lithuanian composers are mixed, by family names 1/3 of them are of Lithuanian origin as was very famous Lithuanian language father:) with polish family name Jablonski...and of cause Poland still rules temporarily Lithuanian land conquered after 2nd world war...it is the right time to give back Prussian lands to Balts or Lithuanians because half of conquered Prussians were forced to come permanently to live in Lithuania and another half was just massacred or assimilated and now they are extinct, but not in Lithuania. Prussians still waiting for their lands to get back.

1970s births? Are these people that notable even? LeszekB 08:13, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disclaimer

Stuff like this doesn't belong on the page itself... Karol 19:14, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is a list of notable and representative Polish composers. If a notable Polish composer is missing and without article, please add the name here.

I disagree... and so do others. Please see: Poland-related Wikipedia notice board for relevant discussion. The disclaimer is meant for those who constantly add names lacking articles. Please, see Article Requests above for most recent examples of what I mean. --Poeticbent  talk  19:28, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spoko... I see there is a consensus (which I support, becuase these lists are a mess)... but the tone of the disclaimer is not right. Karol 20:20, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcomed to post your suggestions - about how you'd like to rephrase the disclaimer - at Portal talk: Poland. Have others discuss it. However, the original wording has already been confirmed for the List of Poles and subsequent lists by at least three editors. --Poeticbent  talk  20:32, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
