Please stick with the facts Wikipedia and not gossip or hearsay that benefits someone trying to sell books. The statement that Eddy had visibly aged after MacDonald's death is AN OPINION of someone who believes Eddy and MacDonald had this wonderful, torrid affair for 30+ years that never resulted in anything that could have been published when they were alive. Only after they and most of their family, friends and colleagues are gone does someone try to publish books about their sad, alleged affair. You are correct Jack of Oz, this is not encyclopedic. These statements are rantings of persons trying to sell books or support the author of those books.

To-do List:

I threw the plagiarism tag on this (I THINK it's the right one... I can't find a better one) because it looks suspicious. Very thorough, hardly NPOV article all from one account which is no longer available. If someone has the original source, could they please double-check? Also, all the blurbs on each movie is excessive. These should be moved to separate articles for each movie. Wencer 22:58, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The reference to a paternal "pure" New England English ancestry may be taken as reflecting adversely on a maternal Russian Jewish ancestry. I think "pure" should be deleted, and I've done so. Wbkelley (talk) 06:24, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In the "Radio and Television" section, the reference to station WOO is probably in error, since it was a ship-to-shore radiotelephone station, not a commercial broadcasting station. The correct station should be substituted, but I don't know what it is. Wbkelley (talk) 06:24, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Russian Jew"? Where is there any evidence that he was a Russian Jew?

Visibly aged?

Eddy visibly aged after the death of Jeanette MacDonald in January 1965.

Do not all people visibly age, sooner or later? I can't see that this is encyclopedic. -- JackofOz (talk) 02:02, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
