Maksim Viktorovich Surayev (Russian: Максим Викторович Сураев) was born May 24 1972, in Chelyabinsk, Russia.
Surayev is currently serving as a Flight Engineer for the International Space Station on Expedition 22 He served in the same capacity during Expedition 21.[1] He traveled to the station aboard Soyuz TMA-16 on September 30, 2009.[2]
Surayev has kept a blog[3] while in space[4].
