XBIZ is one of the leading business news and business information resources for the adult entertainment industry. [3]

XBIZ was launched to provide organization and support for the on-line adult sector, providing resource links for adult-site webmasters and other industry vendors. The site is viewed by more than 1600 adult-entertainment-oriented webmasters each day.[4]

"XBiz.com has emerged as one of the premier adult webmaster resource sites on the Internet, and is a name nearly every adult webmaster recognizes."

The Web Host Industry Review[5]

XBIZ publishes two monthly print and online trade magazines, hosts both summer and winter exhibition & industry conferences, and encourages networking among adult on-line professionals through a business-to-business professional networking service.[6] XBIZ company representatives are frequently cited in mainstream media articles about business trends and practices in the industry.[7][8][9][10][11][12]

The XBIZ Los Angeles Conference features adult entertainment business seminars, industry debates, state-of-the-industry discussions, keynotes from industry luminaries, and celebrity appearances. The event is held in February of each year in Los Angeles, and culminates with the annual XBIZ Awards.[19][20] The 2010 conference will be held in Hollywood, California. The conference is also a digital media trade event designed to explore current and future market trends, the newest technologies, emerging business models, and networking events. The LA conference also includes a trade fair so industry vendors can showcase their current products. The conference hosts the annual membership meeting of The Free Speech Coalition, the advocacy and trade association for the adult entertainment industry, and coincides with the annual XBIZ Awards, the adult industry’s biggest business awards show.[21]
XBIZ’s summer conference, The XBIZ Forum, is a business-to-business networking event for the online adult entertainment industry. The event is held annually at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Like the Los Angeles conference, the Forum features appearances by well-known figures from the adult entertainment industry. The featured entertainment for the 2008 conference included porn-star bikini contests and porn-star Karaoke.[22]

XBIZ Awards

The annual XBIZ Awards honor excellence in the creation and marketing of adult entertainment. The awards coincide with the XBIZ Conference.[23] Organized by the adult industry trade magazine XBIZ, the awards were first given in 2003.[24] The award nominations are submitted by members of the adult entertainment industry, and the finalists are voted for by XBIZ staff, industry colleagues and participating peer organizations.[25] The awards were originally created to recognize business achievement in the online adult industry, but in recent years adult movie, novelty, retail, and people's choice categories have also been added.[26] The 2010 awards are to be hosted by adult entertainment stars Teagan Presley and Sunny Leone.[27] The XBIZ Awards program is now in its eighth year.[28]
