planning for spring fieldtrips
recruiting more meetup members
barnraisings--as most members will know, every good wiki can benefit from a good old barnraising. I have been thinking/proposing for a while that one way to increase awareness, get the gospel of wikis out, and recruit folks to the "cause" is to do barnraisings as a group--particularly for good causes. Right now, the most prominent, of course, is Haiti. What say?

- Local history museum (like Los Gatos)
New suggestions
- United States Immigration Station, Angel Island has been open[1] for almost a year, so I imagine the curators have some interesting items from the fire debris by now
- Mare Island Naval Shipyard, Mare Island Historic Park Foundation, historic ships moored nearby?
